Tucked inside the sought-after Village Walk Community, Mermaid Retreat is your hidden Port Aransas gem—perfect for families, groups, and anyone looking to soak up the sun in comfort and style. This spacious, three-story beach home features 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and even includes a cozy apartment-style living space on the ground floor, offering extra privacy and flexibility.
Enjoy your mornings or evenings on the rooftop viewing deck, where panoramic views of the ocean and town will take your breath away. Prefer a little shade? The second-story deck also offers partial ocean views and plenty of space to kick back with a cold drink in hand. Cruise to the beach, restaurants, shops, and local hot spots in your included golf cart—you're just a short drive from everything Port A has to offer. Whether you're lounging, exploring, or enjoying some well-earned downtime, Mermaid Retreat is your ideal coastal escape.

​​​​​​​Please Note: There is no direct beach access from this home. The nearest access point is Beach Access Road 1-A, located about a mile down the road.

***Please note that golf cart deliveries are scheduled based on check-in times, typically around 4 PM. Same-day bookings are not guaranteed. For example, if you make a reservation for arrival that same evening, the golf cart may not be delivered until approximately 4 PM the following day. Golf carts are provided through our trusted partner, Joy Golf Carts. After your booking is confirmed, they will reach out to you directly to finalize the rental details.

Beach gear credit is included! As a gift to you, this home offers beach gear credit for you to select top-quality beach gear for your vacation stay. You can choose from a range of items, including bikes, kayaks, paddleboards, boogie boards, and more. Simply select the gear you want for your vacation at least 48 hours before your scheduled check-in date, and VayK Gear will take care of the rest! Please note that a small delivery fee may apply.

Before traveling to Port Aransas/Village Walk, please plan the correct number of vehicles you drive according to the rules below:
1) Mermaid Retreat provides 4 paved parking spaces for 4 medium-sized vehicles.
2) Parking Tags will be provided by Port A Beach House Company. All tags must be returned to Port A Beach House Company upon checkout. $25.00 replacement fee for each lost tag
3) All vehicles must be parked in the driveway of Mermaid Retreat. No Street Parking, No Parking in Red Zones, and No Parking in other Village Walk Driveways
4) No Boats, Trailers, Buses, or RVs are allowed in Village Walk
5) Towing will be strictly enforced

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-Check-in time is approximate time; housekeeping and maintenance make all attempts to be ready by 4 pm but there is no guarantee.
-STARTER set for guests to include two trash bags, dish soap and two dishwashing pods, one toilet paper roll per bathroom, one paper towel roll, and mini toiletry supplies. Guests SHOULD bring extra amounts of these items as the starter set is for 1 night, and we will not resupply the home.
-Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can't guarantee that you won't hear/see construction, building, or community improvement projects and events during your stay.
-Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time. There are no refunds for outages of cable/WIFI or if the city pool is closed for cleaning, repair, or maintenance.
-Please remember that you are on an island; mosquitos/pests can be plentiful several times per year. Our properties are treated by a professional pest control service every month.

CLEANING AND INSPECTION
-We use disinfecting products that meet or exceed CDC performance standards.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels & washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These complimentary amenities are provided in the property as a convenience until you can go shopping: hand/bath soap, one toilet paper roll per bathroom, one paper towel, two dishwasher pods, two trash bags, and one make-up wipe per bathroom.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your family's arrival.
