About this apartment rental
The Vu is a luxury contemporary apartment with stunning sea views encompassing Torquay town and harbour.
The apartment can accommodate 6 guests adding an additional bedroom with ensuite with full sea view. Contact Karen for further information and rental cost.
Located in one of Torquay’s most exclusive areas the apartment comprising of the entire lower ground floor of our home has the versatility of providing seafront and country walks, accessing the footpath to Cockington country park and a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach continuing on for a further 10 minutes to arrive a the main Torre Abbey beach with associated cafes, bars and restaurants.
The apartment is accessed from the parking area and along the external sun terrace, taking in the large level garden with pond. Along the terrace you will come to the undercover outside dining area where you will find the main door to the apartment providing 210 Sq. meters of level accommodation. There are two bedrooms, one has an ensuite shower room with king size bed and smart TV, the second bedroom has a king size bed that can be arranged as two single beds, if required, and smart TV. This bedroom has the use of the main bathroom, just across the hallway, which has a walk-in rain shower and chromotherapy spa bath. Both bedrooms have stunning views with patio doors leading to the sun terrace.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with all the essentials ie. Cutlery, crockery and bakeware etc including induction hob with main oven, microwave, dishwasher and full height fridge with small freezer compartment. There is an area off the hallway that provides a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The lounge/dining area enjoys a 65 inch smart TV with surround sound, DVD, portable bluetooth speaker, Wi fi and adjustable desk/work station with charging. Bifold doors lead directly to the pool room and another set leading to the outside terrace for alfresco dining that can be taken under the covered way or on the dining/barbecue terrace next to the hot tub.
The heated indoor pool and hot tub are both for your own private use and are available throughout the year. The pool is heated to 28°C with the hot tub heated to 37°C both enjoying the simply breath taking views.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Vu, house and views are stunning, & the pool is amazing. The whole place was beautiful! But Something we were disappointed with was we could hear work going on behind the locked door in the living room and hallway. We thought it may be just for one day so wasn’t too bothered but it ended up being most the week we were there. We wouldn’t have minded if we’d had some pre-warning for it or even a message to explain while we were there. If it was in summertime and you’d be out and about more you may not have noticed but as it was December we didn’t venture very far so could hear it all and workmen chatting, I feel this could have been communicated beforehand , especially as we booked this for my mum for her birthday as we’ve recently lost my dad , so was meant to be a really relaxing switch off week. But it really is a beautiful place! And Torquay is lovely too!

Amazing place, very accurate to website. Wonderful pool, hot tub and what views! The apartment is of highest quality, so much attention to detail. We’ve already booked for next year as holiday was so relaxing.
