Awesome and great location!!
Awesome and great location!!
We stayed here for 8 days in Feb 2014 to visit our son and the place was perfect. Location was awesome! We enjoyed our morning walks into town for our coffee. The place had a very cozy feel and was furnished with everything you need. Have to visit the Gondola Italian Restaurant just a few blocks down the street near the water...you wont be disapointed. Absolutely the BEST food!!! The owner was very good in communicating with us prior to our trip and we contacted him during oiur stay once as we had a problem with the TV and he was very prompt and took care of things in an instant. Definately would recommend and stay here again.

The rate was based on our vote among all three members of the family : the son (aged 13) said Good because he found the space is not big enough, me and my wife have all rated it excellent. The entire area though not spacious it is clean, cozy and decent enough for a family of four with luxury and handy of internet from VirginMedia and house PC. The biggest advantages is its central location but far away from busy road so to enjoy the early morning quietness however only a 5 - 10 minutes walking distance to all the major amenities such as parks, supermarket, rail station, local theater, museums and library. The use of this as a base and to access to St Andrews, Edinburgh and some of the fishing villages are highly recommended, Other than the cold and unpredictable weather in Scotland, we found our stay was one of the most memorable and enjoyable holidays. Some points maybe useful for other holiday makers : 1) The disposal collection is on Wednesday morning and all dwellers should move the dust bin outside and place it on the pavement easy to access for environmental workers.2) The road side parking you should avoid using the boxed area which are designated for disabled.
