Remote property but so worth the drive. The drive is definitely not for the faint hearted the road is small & steep in places and crosses a stream. We had a lot of rain also so the stream was quiet high. In the end we parked up the car and got lift for the last stretch of the journey, which was only 5 mins further. The following day we walked across the river to get to the car to go to town, this may be seen as an inconvenience however it was a highlight of the trip, something we all still talk about. To be at the will of nature. The property itself was amazing so natural but with all amenities required. The views, mountains and gardens were absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to sunrise and the birds chirping the sound of the water, I only wish we had stayed a lot longer. The children absolutely loved it and the little dog, who followed us on the trails. The host was exceptional giving us so much information and tips even before we arrived. I have never stayed somewhere so beautiful and peaceful in my life and we all said it was the absolute highlight of our trip to Brazil.

Do Lugar: O Vista Alegre é um paraíso. O contato com a natureza é maravilhoso. Canto do pássaros, vista única da Mata Atlântica, do Mar e ilhas (Dá pra ver a Usina do lado oposto - bem pequena).
É uma mistura de modernidade (conforto da Casa) com a presença rústica da Natureza.
Poços e Cachoeira perto.
Foi eu, minha esposa e meus 3 filhos.
Ah, tinha água quente nas torneiras também.
Da Anfitriã: Adriana, uma excelente Anfitriã, deu muitas informações importantes, tanto pra melhorar nossa dinâmica na Casa, quanto para aproveitar o período com conforto e experiências. É uma pessoa de confiança que me gerou muita tranquilidade. Atenta a nos dar todo o apoio que por ventura precisássemos.
Do Zorro: kkkkk... cachorrinho do sítio que esteve conosco fazendo trilha, no pocinho e a todo momento. Companheiro foi na frente na trilha, inclusive mostrando o caminho. Zorro foi um parceiro e tanto.
Não é ponto negativo para a Vista Alegre.
Na verdade, é um ponto de observação meu.
Em que pese a estrada ser asfaltada e ter um trajeto curto concretada, tranquila; apenas não iria de carro sedan, OU iria de hacht OU SUV. O meu Sedan estava pesado e baixo, o que acarretou o deslocamento do parachoque na ida e na vinda ao passar por um dado local. Apenas uma observação pra os futuros usuários desse paraíso que é o Vista Alegre. (Não me eximo quanto à possibilidade de ser culpa da minha direção...rs)
Não deixem de conhecer, é um lugar surreal.

A Adriana foi muito simpática e solícita, tirou todas as minhas dúvidas e deu muitas dicas valiosas, tanto antes quanto durante nossa estadia. Ela e o Zorro nos acolheram muito bem! A casa é muito aconchegante e a paisagem é um espetáculo. Amamos muito, estou ansiosa para voltar!
A única coisa ruim foi ter que ir embora.
