Very cozy and homely apartment to stay in especially if you are travelling around Scotland. Very easy to catch trains and after a day out, it felt so nice to come back here to relax and sleep. Great kitchen facilities, the hosts left a very nice card and beer and milk in the fridge, a very nice touch. There is a washing machine with detergent. The shop right around the corner in the gas station was great for all the basics you need!

Ground floor flat. No stairs to deal with. Lovely personal welcome with a handwritten card. 3 complimentary craft ales in the fridge. Great communication from the host and apartment cleaned in the middle of my stay. Would highly recommend.

We liked the easy way to get access to the property. It was immaculately clean, there was lots of tea, coffee, condiments, etc in the cupboards. The folder with all the instruction manuals was very helpful. On entering the property there was a lovely handwritten card welcoming us together with a large bottle of Prosecco and a packet of yummy shortbread.

This is a very comfortable one bedroom apartment on the ground floor in a quiet part of central Helensburgh train and only a few minutes walk to Helensburgh Central train station and a 10 - 15 minute walk to Helensburgh Upper Station (for the West Highland Rail trip). The apartment is well appointed and suitable for cooking meals. The shower is the best I have used so far into our 4 country and multiple locations stays. Great pressure and plenty of hot water. Decent sized rooms too so we didn’t feel cramped. The washing machine and drying rack and iron etc. were very welcomed. Useful pantry items available for use. A lovely gift left in the fridge along with some locally made shortcake. On street parking was easy and adjacent to the property (not connected to or in view) is a useful Tesco Express / Petrol Station. Also so close to the inlet and a lovely walk along the water. Penny and Alex (property hosts) responded promptly and helpfully to our queries and gave excellent instructions on how to access the apartment upon arrival. We had a hiccup on our last night in the way of being stranded in Fort William after flash flooding prevented our train returning us to Helensburgh. I contacted Penny late in the evening to explain we may not be back in time to checkout by the required time the next morning and she couldn’t have been more helpful and reassuring us that it would all be fine. We finally located a taxi to drive us 2hrs back to Helensburgh and Penny kindly extended our check out time in the morning so we could have a proper rest before driving on to the Isle of Skye today. Highly recommend Cedar Apartments to people reading this review and we will definitely return if back in Scotland again. Thank you Penny and Alex.

The apartment was spotless and had all the amenities etc great location and the owner kept in touch will definitely visit again.
