Trip was great. My husband even commented on how much newer the furniture and decor looked than our other rentals. Mollie communicated quickly on our questions. The villa is a great location, 1st floor by the stairs (also has an elevator) and the unit was at the end of the hall..a lot quieter with less people traffic.Villamare has updated its looks, cleaned up the grounds and of course it’s on the beach. Only a couple things I’d suggest. The king bed is super comfortable, but there is a huge lump in the middle like a lot of kings, so it limits your space. Also, in the kitchen maybe some Saran Wrap or foil? But I’d rent again for sure.

The property was very clean. Villamere is very quiet. The grounds are well manicured. Outside of the unit, when it rains, water builds up on the deck floor after a hard rain. It will not go away on its own, has to be swept off.
We did not realize, when booking, there is no pool view or ocean view. This is the farthest unit from the beach. For us, having a disabled adult son, probably would have been better to locate a unit closer to beach or pool and definitely with a view of one of those. Still was a good experience. Manager of unit provided excellent service. The general store amd Jim’s restaurant provided great local service (on grounds of Palmetto Dunes).
