Good and clean room
That is my fault but in the first night cannot find the blind as it is late and dark and not noted I have not get the blind down. And in the early morning …

We booked the hotel because of its huge collection of books and especially manga books in the lobby. Guests can take a book to the room to read, that is a very good idea. The hotel is located near the Nijo Castle and we were lucky to have the chance to attend Sakura Nights at Nijo Castle. The Kyoto central station is a bit far but there are busses, the centre and Nishiki Market are at a walkable distance. There is a small Japanese restaurant just 20 meters from the hotel with very cheap and very tasty food- we enjoyed eating there. The room was clean. We even used the hotel's service to send our luggage from Kyoto to Osaka.

Very comfortable stay. All facilities were good. And the staff are very friendly and can converse in English

The location was great and near a bus stop and 7-11. The books were cool and the toiletries were nice. The room had a small wet bar area too!
The beds were so uncomfortable and hard. The room key had to stay in the light switch to make them stay on. The room was small but the beds were just so uncomfortable!
