The locations was excellent being close to Monasiraki station so easy access to catch the train to the airport.

Poor sound insulation from the apartment above . So poor could hear the occupants speaking and footsteps. Thought the location was grotty and seedy from first impression with so much graffiti. Then realised that most of Athens seems to be covered in graffiti!!

The warm welcome and help on arrival in the wonderful, unique establishment that is Frogs Guest House, was brilliant, just like your family welcoming you home. The room was very clean, a great balcony onto the street and the central location is fantastic for exploring central Athens and also getting around the city and further afield with the Monastiraki metro station nearby and not much further to catch buses on a lot of routes. We had a great night's sleep, but there's a potential for the vibrant night atmosphere to intrude. It's fantastic for some people and not for others. We loved it!! We also loved the charm, kindness and help from all the staff. We will be back next year ❤️

We were very disappointed with this place. First of all, this is not really a hotel. We were given a room/apartment in a separate building away from the main property and bar area. If we had wanted to rent an apartment, we could have found much better options — but this was presented and priced more like a hotel experience. In reality, there are basically no hotel services at all. We had to manually turn on the boiler and wait about an hour every time we wanted hot water for a shower. Towels were not replaced, the carpet had visible stains, and the overall cleanliness was poor. There wasn’t even a TV in the bedroom. The whole experience felt misleading, especially because we compared this property to actual hotels when deciding where to stay. I honestly do not understand the high Booking score — maybe people were impressed by the Psiri neighborhood itself, which is indeed lovely, but certainly not by the apartment we received. At the end of the day, this is just a room in the neighborhood, not a real hotel experience.
