Rural 5 bedroom family friendly Cottage

Fantastic house, decorated to a high standard with plenty of living space. My daughter particularly enjoyed seeing the rabbits in the garden.

It was amazing, very spacious, super comfy beds, well stocked with kitchen utensils, toilet rolls, luxury hand soap, beautiful fluffy towel's, lovely showers, cleaning materials, decoration throughout tastefully done. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk in fridge and some Grantham ginger biscuits and Lincolnshire plum loaf left by host. We were converging from Norwich and Lancaster to meet up to celebrate a 70th birthday. There were 7 adults and an 11 year old in the group. More than enough room for us all with 2 cosy living areas and floor to ceiling windows in the extension which gave wonderful open views.

Wow, what a lovely property. Attention to detail in all aspects. Welcome pack provided, teatowels, washing up liquid, hand soap, dishwasher tablets and all the equipment in the kitchen. Bathrooms had plenty of toilet roll and hand soap as well as a beautiful smelling hair and body gel. Plenty of hot water and heated towel rail. The towels were super fluffy and thick. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and quality bedding and plenty of storage for your clothes. Living spaces were comfortable with one lounge area off the kitchen that we called the snug and the other large lounge at the other end, a huge bright and airy space for entertaining or just watching a movie on the big TV. Cottage was warm and well heated, even with being open to the elements in its elevated position on the farm it was lovely and cosy. It is well decorated with lovely touches to make it like home including CD radio in the kitchen and snug.Our hosts were very responsive when we had an issue at the house and resolved it quickly, which is the measure of a very good host. Would we stay again - definitely, some of our party wanted to stay forever!Thank you very much for our wonderful stay and the opportunity to see those beautiful sunsets and sunrises.

Whilst we enjoyed our stay and the property was nicely decorated for Christmas we wouldn’t choose to stay here again. There are no facilities for small children at all and bar the main bedroom the other 4 double bedded rooms are too small to fit a travel cot. There is plenty of equipment in the kitchen but only a single oven, bit of a challenge cooking for 10! There isn’t really seating for 10 in the lounge either. Minimal information and the property is in need of a good clean and bit of minor maintenance. Having said all that, a quiet location with easy access to Lincoln.
