About this apartment rental

Studio apartment (4th floor) with fantastic views of the sea, gardens and pool of the fabulous Minerva Complex. Fully equipped American style kitchen and luxury bathroom. TV and DVD is included with all the usual UK channels, Films, Sports, catch up TV and more. There is also free Wi - fi. A ten minute walk up the hill takes you to the small town of Arroyo de la Miel where you'll find even more bars and restaurants along with supermarkets and a selection of shops. A short taxi ride or bus will take you to the picturesque old village of Benalmadena Pueblo, which its exclusive bars and restaurants. A short stroll down the hill to the beach and promenade will take you to the lovely marina or even walk a little further to the bustling resort of Torremolinos.

I stayed at Catherine's place for a month while trying to find somewhere longterm, and I had such a great stay. Very easy to get in contact with Catherine before, during and after my stay. The apartment has everything it needs and a great location, and a lovely view from the terrace over a green area and the sea. I will definitely recommend Catherine's place!

Wow what a wonderful stay. From making the initial booking months before we travelled, to the day we left. Catherine and Peter you have a gem of an apartment, and you are the perfect hosts, you have been extremely helpful throughout. The apartment itself is well equipped with a lovely balcony to observe the views of the mountain, sea and well maintained gardens. The staff at the complex are friendly and approachable and despite our lack of Spanish we communicated well. The apartment is very central for bars/restaurants. The bus service is excellent and the bus stops are very nearby. One of the downsides to the holiday is the amount of hills you need to climb to get to places but with the transport being very good if you plan your routes using the timetable you can mostly stay on the flat.

We stayed for 2 weeks, 4 of us, me my wife and our 2 daughters (3 & 6) the appartment was perfect for what we needed and the pool was outstanding. Catherine couldn’t have been more helpful, I would highly recommend staying here. Thanks again x

The studio flat is great for two people who are all the time out. From the balcony we had the best views of Benalmadena. One super quality of the studio is not overlooked, even though there are lots of blocks around. They do not restrict the panoramic view of the town, the sea, the hils. That is the best quality we loved.

Catherine was lovely, communication was excellent. Studio has everything you need for 2 people who just need a base to sleep and get washed. The studio is part of a large block so noise can be slight problem. The blocks located around 10 minutes walk to the beach but it is uphill so wouldn’t recommend for people with walking difficulties. There are some shops, cafes and bars much closer. There is wi fi but it’s not very good, this is out of the owners control. Lovely gardens at the side which the balcony faces and the views are fantastic.

Thank you Catherine for an amazing stay at your apartment it literally had everything you could need! The pool area was great for children and it’s so central to everything! I only wish I could have stayed more than two weeks! We can’t wait to return next year!

The owners were always avaiable for direct contact and responded promptly, as did maintenance people when called upon. Very comfortable studio with beautiful viewsnover the garden and those all important sunsets. Complex wifi has very weak signal for this apartment, will not even load a page. recommend 'Wifiaway' mifi (delivered from Madrid) but this is an added cost unless owners decide to install a router at some point.

The studio was very clean and tidy with everything as stated and more. First Christmas abroad and would love to do it again the area has all you could wish for restaurants bars quiet spots too. Paloma park which the studio overlooks is beautiful. All grounds were well kept. We were lucky enough to have warm sometimes hot days for our stay. Everything you could want for a self catering holiday. The only thing which spoilt our stay at this beautiful studio was the grinding and banging from the apartment below us which was having major refurbishment, the work started at 8.30 and continued till 6/7pm every day during our weeks stay.

I stayed here in May with my three year old.Booking was really straightforward with Catherine. Replied straight away to messages and given phone numbers to contact if required. The apartment is lovely. Spotlessly clean on arrival and had everything we needed. Nice to have a balcony that got the sun at the end of the day too, meaning that wet swimming things were dry before bedtime. Whilst we were there they were painting around the pool ready for the main season. Only the two small pools were open at that time, which was fine for us. The pool bar was open by the end of the week. However, there are nowhere near enough sun loungers to go around, even in mid May when it was quiet...I expect this is far worse in high season. Definitely worth buying your own from the shop on the corner if you intend to be at the pool every day. The apartment directly overlooks the garden area so noise from outside is not an issue. However, the landings to all the apartments are open mezzanine style across all eight floors and some evenings, there was a lot of noise from late returning guests. Fortunately my little one is a deep sleeper, so it didn't disturb her...but I would take ear plugs next time. Supermarket right across the road is well stocked, loads of bars and restaurants close by and short walk to Paloma Park ( with great kids playground and loads of wildlife) and sea front. Would definitely recommend and if we go back to Benalmadena would stay here again.
