Useless

Booked this online and went to meet the lady and was told she booked it elsewhere and I was left homeless on New Year’s Eve stay away from this place

Good value stay.

Great location, 1/2 mile to Praa Sands beach and bar. Central for exploring Lizard, Lands End, Minach, St Ives, St Micheals Mount, Kaynance Cove, Sennen Cove all within 15 mile radius. Chalet compact, clean and well equipped. Would stay again.

Ok nice place and host, but could have been more cleaner and comfortable.

Shower was hot, plenty of towels, nice welcome pack

Sofa broken on one side, so very uncomfortable to sit on... loads of cobwebs throughout. Dirty tv faulty dvds.

Fantastic little gem

The property was a little gem, it was perfect for us as a family and the extra details of the coffee tea milk was a plus, I have to say I was skeptical when I booked as there were reviews that said it was too small, a musty smell etc… however my experience was nothing like that, so take it from me don’t make your decision on those reviews. There was everything we needed from soft fluffy towels new flooring in the lounge area, tv, plates glasses cups everything you need, and the beach was a small 10 mins walk away, I really enjoyed my stay and will be back.

Could be much better

Perfect location for Praa Sands Toiletries provided and a bottle of wine a few sachets of tea and milk so that was helpful Kitchen had everything but we ate out.

No Hot water from taps, shower ok. Advised owner The chalet is very small but as only 2 of us we managed but definitely not suitable for 4. Bedrooms just enough room for bed and small wardrobe no room for dressing table so had to get ready in the main room/kitchen. Using a mirror over the TV. Bathroom good size but again there was no where to put items ie. toiletries there was a V small coffee table! Need some hooks/shelving. Mirror v rusted. Shower head brown needs replacing. Generally needed a deep clean throughout, and complete decorating as v tired looking. It looks like everything they have replaced in their own house is in the chalet! Everything worn. The Fridge is noisy and rusty.

You get what you pay for.

Good location. Near to some great beaches and a couple of nice pubs.

The bed was very uncomfortable. Could do with a mattress topper. Also missing a few home comforts such as a shaver point, some mirrors and maybe a picture or two on the bare walls. Cleanliness throughout was only surface deep. Bedroom was only just big enough for the bed.

Location was excellent. Cleanliness was exceptional, and the host left some tea and cakes for our arrival. The property easily accommodated 4 adults with comfy beds and a large living space.

We were spending our Christmas in this beautiful place. They received us very cordially and the facilities are adequate to spend a few comfortable days. We will definitely be back.

Praa sands is central to travel around although the town itself, and the beach, is nothing special.

Welcome pack of chocolates and scones. Crockery, cutlery and utensils of good quality and clean. Kitchen well equipped.

No shelves in shower or above/around basin to hold bathroom items. You need to shower with gel etc on the floor. Sleeping and living room areas are very basic and small. Only space for a reading lamp/table on one side of a double bed. Don't think a kingsize bed is an option in the compact bedroom.

A lovely Cornish gem at a great beach location

Champa is an excellent and accommodating host. She was even happy to lay out a lovely surprise for our little girl’s birthday ahead of our arrival. The property was perfect for us, being family of 4, with clean facilities that added to our comfort and homely feel. It is also just a 10 minute walk to the nearby Praa Sands sandy beach and an excellent base to tour surrounding areas in Cornwall. We will certainly be back if we are lucky enough to find the property available again.
