The brownstone was beautiful and I’m really big on aesthetics. It felt very warm, cozy, and well put together. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was also great, with easy access to food spots.
Nothing major at all. Parking was a little tricky, but that’s pretty normal for New York, so it wasn’t a big deal.

Location, support from renters, clean
The lock on the door to the apartment was very flimsy and felt unsafe.
The window in the bedroom would not shut and it was impossible to reach up to where it could be shut.
The wall was so thin I could hear noise in the room next to ours.
The bathroom down the hall was sufficient but not easy to navigate in the middle of the night and the bolt lock was flimsy and old fashioned, again feeling unsafe.
The TV was not visible from the bed as it was behind a lamp, and there were no instructions on how to use it.
In the TV area there was a cold marble floor and no rug.
There were no linnens for the couch bed and impossible for someone to sleep there as it was too small.
I did not feel comfortable that they were offering a discount for our next stay if we would give the place a good rating.
