About this villa rental

This country house is a gem of a place to stay, very comfortably sleeping up to six adults, in three twin rooms - one room boasts an en-suite with shower. (Arrangements can also be made to sleep two infants). The kitchen is fully dressed and at your disposal for meal preparation or cork popping! A comfortable lounge faces opposite, including a television (with mainstream UK channels) and throughout the house you’ll be connected to WiFi (unlimited upon how many devices are connected.) From your terrace you can relax from a hammock, dine alfresco or lounge at your own pace. A short walk through the Orchard Garden and you will find a turquoise blue swimming pool and sun terrace. The pool has been beautifully finished, with “wedding cake” entry steps and smooth curved edges all around. The views from here are equally as breathtaking as from Skye Blue House located just above you. The town of Alhaurin El Grande is situated only 2km away, with a range of international restaurants, tapas bars and renowned ice cream parlours. The town of Coin is situated 6km away and there you’ll find a shopping centre, with cinema, and a weekly Sunday Market. The coastal resorts of Fuengirola and Marbella are 20 & 35 minutes drive away respectively.

What a perfect piecefull property, the house is all you need for a quiet relaxing holiday. Great views of the surrounding hills from the house and especially from the pool area. All of the property is very well maintained and all little details thought of. Lana and Les have done a great job of creating this space. Would definitely come here again if we ever visit the area. Lana and Les made us feel at home straight away and their attention to detail made our holiday special.

Skye blue house, looks amazing on the website, but in reality it is even better! The road up to the house is narrow and winding, but what awaits is worth it and more.. Les and Lana were amazing hosts. Having had to postpone our original trip for 12 months due to covid restrictions, Les was brilliant to deal with. Not only did he refund our deposit without question, we rebooked for the same price a year later. Skye blue house is a little piece of paradise, with a magic that soothes the soul, I can't recommend it highly enough! We had a fabulous 10 days, and came home relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated. Thank you Les, Lana and girls for sharing your beautiful special house with us! And rest assured If we make it back to Alhaurin el grande again we will definitely stay in Skye blue house! Best wishes and love to you all Irene, Peter and crew xx

We did enjoy our stay at Blue Skye house, it was fantastic just to sit out on the veranda , eat our dinner cooked on the gas bar-b-q and relax. The road to the house is a bit hairy at times( if you meet a truck coming the other way) but once there it was great.

What an unbelievable holiday we had. Skye Blue House was amazing. The hosts Les and Lana were extremely friendly and helpful. From recommendations to getting a few bits from the supermarket for us as we arrived late. Prior to our arrival they were very communicative. As we were travelling with young children they had high chairs, cots, bed bumpers, kids plates & cutlery. All of us agreed that this was the best holiday we have ever been on. It’s remoteness made it the perfect break. Only 10 mins drive from Alhaurín El Grande which has everything you need. The views from the terrace and the pool are breathtaking. The route in is a bit of an eye opener but depending on your opinion, we think this made it even more charming. We played golf, ate tapas (bar Juan Sanchez is a MUST), had a day at the beach, a day in Malaga and spent the rest of our time BBQing and chilling by the pool. We can’t thank Les& Lana enough and we will DEFINITELY be back.

Thank you Les Lana & girls for you’re kindness thoughtfulness and hospitality. TSBlue is a one off in our opinion. The whole setup really has been carefully crafted and put together. We were a family of 6/7 from a 3 yr old to a 62 yr young Grandad. Each of us laughed snored, chilled, ate, swam, slept and sunbathed all week. The peacefulness was just what we all needed ! The spectacular views are up there with our best ever that we have seen around the world, on our previous travels. We ventured out just once down to the coast, and to be honest I couldn’t wait to get back up to The Sky Blue. I felt being away for 4 hrs was 4 hrs lost enjoying ourselves. If you’re thinking of a stress free vacation I would say book now !!! But not late next May!!!! Yes we are already pencilled in for 2020. Once again thanks a million you guys. You should feel very proud of yourselves for what you have created Until the next time. 🙏👍😎

We had a fantastic stay at Skye blue house. Hosts were fab, so helpful in every way. We have made some unforgettable memories. The house is just a little peice of heaven. Breath taking views with complete quiet. The pool was amazing as it over looked the mountains. Would highly recommend. We had 4 teens who thoroughly enjoyed themselves, from quiet nights to crazy ones in Nearby towns. Thank you for a wonderful holiday x

Located close to both country and the sea - gorgeous pool and the hammocks were perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for our wonderful hosts who made us feel at home straight away. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

The last part of the road getting there is a bit rough, but once you get there, the location is spectacular. The house has everything you need for a summer holiday, but it is the outdoor facilities that make Skye Blue House special: the large and well-furnished roofed patio, the cosy hammock area, and the great swimming pool - and from every spot you can enjoy the beautiful views. Les and Lana are great hosts, making sure that we did not arrive to an empty fridge in the middle of the night, and always being available in case we had any questions. The nearby town, Alhaurin el Grande, offers a wide variety of shops - and if you are into walking, you can reach several mini-markets, a baker, a butcher etc. in 20-25 minutes (it brings out the sweat, since it is hilly - but not more demanding than my 77 year old father happily joined several walks into town). Large supermarkets can be reached by car (a 10-15 minutes drive).
