About this apartment rental

The flat is entered on the first floor with internal stairway to second floor. Archway to fitted kitchen with all mod cons, opening into lounge/diner with large sliding doors to large balcony, this in turn has spiral staircase to roof terrace covering entire length and width of the flat with sun loungers. Great at all times of the year except July and August when it is just too hot to go there but I there is a rooftop hot/cold shower for cooling down. Air conditioning / heating units in reception area and both bedrooms. Working fireplace in reception. Wi-fi throughout whole of the flat and 24 channel English TV package, bluetooth. Easy walk down to sea and local shops/restaurants and bars, but uphill back. No need to hire a car but if you do, free parking on on the street outside the block.

Our stay at La siesta 2 was absolutely lovely. We couldn’t find a fault if we tried from picking the keys up to the end of our stay. The apartment is the cleanest homeliest place Iv stayed at abroad Iv booked to take my children next year for two weeks we loved it that much. Location is brilliant at the top of the strip were there is a fare share of restaurants and bars with dona Lola and the beach beating a short walk. We had such a lovely time at Tina’s apartment and communication with Tina was excellent. The apartment was very spacious and clean and the patio and roof terrace was very well equipped with everything you would need. It’s a great place to stay if you want peace and quiet but only approximately 5-10 minutes walk to shops,bars and restaurants.Lynn the property manager who looks after the apartment was always available if needed. I would not hesitate at booking Tina’s apartment again if i visited in the future.

Spacious, well designed apartment with a great balcony and large roof terrace for all day sun even in the winter months. This part of the Costa Del Sol is very busy but the apartment is well placed for exploring the region and all its attractions. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the apartment away from the busy roads, and the time spent relaxing in the sun on the balcony and well equipped roof terrace. It was great having an en suite second bedroom for our guests, and communication with the agents and owner was excellent. Thanks, Tina for letting us stay in your lovely apartment.

Fantastic Place to Stay!

Can't say enough positive things about the property and the location. The booking process was quick and easy. We had great communication from the owner, Tina, and assistance from the management company when we arrived. We are a family of 4 with 2 primary school aged girls and the apartment was perfect for us. We spent most evenings on the balcony with the sea in the background. The pool area on site is nice and clean. The pool itself is quite shallow at one end and deep enough to dive into at the other so works for all ages. Calahonda itself is a great location with plenty of amenities close by. We hired a car so I can't speak for the public transport but that enabled us to explore easily up and down the coast as well as pop to the supermarket. Overall, a great holiday!

Been going to the Costa del Sol for nearly 30 years now and if we’d have had the sense to buy something years ago it would have been just like this one. Ideal aspect with balcony catching the afternoon/evening sun, brilliant spacious private roof terrace, and a well appointed apartment throughout. Modern walk-in showers and smart TV etc show how thoughtful the owner has been. Plus the October weather was spot on for us, evenings warm enough to dine on the balcony sipping chilled sangria.

Just returned from a wonderful week at the apartment. The information provided before arrival was extremely useful. Tina at Sol Finders couldn’t help enough when we collected the keys. The apartment offers everything you would want from a holiday rental. A definite home from home, bright and spacious. We walked miles along the coast daily, towards Marbella and Fuengirola. The apartment is located up a fairly steep hill, but plenty of taxis available if you want to be lazy on the way back from the beach. I would very highly recommend this apartment to anyone who would like to be in a central location to explore the Costa del Sol. Thanks to both Tina’s for being such good hosts. Definitely hope to return in the near future. Louise and Steve North Yorkshire

Large apartment in quiet residential area, newly refurbished to high standard. Sunny balcony AND huge sunroof with beds, table, chairs and shower.Well maintained communal pool and garden area. 15 minute walk up/down hill to nearest main supermarket and coast road Marbella/Malaga.Good bus service, just make sure you flag them down!.A further few minutes to lovely coastal boardwalk in both directions. Owner (Tina) readily contactable for any queries. Very Good.

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It was lovely and clean with everything you could want. The outside space, balcony and roof terrace, are superb. The hills and stairs are a challenging cardio work out. We had a car so getting out and about was easy. Calahonda is nice and central for exploring the coast. Few repairs needed around the complex but the apartment is beautiful.

This apartment has much to recommend it. There is a good size lounge with a view down the street to the sea. A large terrace off the lounge and big roof terrace with views. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. The communal pool and garden looked nice and well maintained. The nearest beach is also within walking distance if you don’t mind the long walk uphill on the way back. The wifi works well and the TV has the main English channels. I noticed that the owner had purchased the property in 1995. This probably explains why the kitchen, bathrooms and some of the furniture was shabby and due for an update. The kitchen equipment could also do with an update to replace the various mismatched, broken or old items. We have sent the owner a list of the various things that need fixing e.g. DVD player, broken chair, etc. As guests we were short of room for our own things as most cupboards and shelves were occupied by the owner’s things. This is the first time we have rented somewhere with large family photos in the lounge and bedroom. Overall we felt we were staying in the owner’s tired second home rather than a top quality holiday property.

We really enjoyed our week here. The apartment is exactly as in the photos, we particularly enjoyed relaxing on the roof terrace, which is a lovely sheltered place for reading in the winter sunshine. The walks along the boardwalk are lovely, and we also enjoyed days out to Ronda and Mijas Pueblo. Didn't want to go home! Thanks for a lovely stay In your apartment Tina.

Spent four thoroughly relaxing days in this lovely apartment. Apartment is exactly as shown in the photos, has everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay and is in a very pleasant and peaceful location with all essential amenities (beach, supermarkets, restaurants, etc.) nearby. A great spot to relax and recharge. Communication with the owner prior to arrival was excellent, very prompt and informative. Location is hilly but a car is not necessary if you are fit and able. An excellent experience from start to finish.

Spacious bright lovely apartment, with all amenities on hand. Wonderful South facing balcony, and a Hugh rooftop terrace ideal for sun bathing, complete with shower for cooling off. The apartment is near shops and restaurants, and within walking distance of the beach. Granada, and Seville are within reach, if you want to explore the area, as are the lovely mountain villages.

This is a great apartment, it feels like a real home with absolutely everything you could possibly need and more. The layout of it has a great flow , inside feels very compact but spacious and the outside terraces are fabulous. Lovely outdoor pool area - very peaceful but close to local supermarkets, restaurants and bars. Tina is a very accommodating host and I would definitely stay here again.

We cannot think of what you would need that you will not find in this gem of an apartment. Spotlessly clean, very private and quiet location. Waking up to whistling birds. Sun all day on the upper terrace, large comfortable bed in master bedroom, fluffy towels, well-equipped kitchen and great shower. Very nice view. As a fit elderly couple we walked everywhere. 15min to main supermarket, 25min to new wooden walkway along beach with many beach bars to choose from. There are stairs leading to the apartment, but these were no problem to us. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your apartment - we will be back!

Tina's apartment is of a high standard, decorated and furnished beautifully. It is in a "residential" area rather than touristy. The bedroom faces at the back overlooking the pool so you will get a good night's sleep, no traffic noise. The pool was very quiet, had it to ourselves some days. But if you don't want to use the pool the roof terrace is very private and has table/chairs and sun beds. There is a hill going down to the supermarket and the main road but you soon get used to it and it is a really pleasant walk. You would not be disappointed if you decide to book Tina's apartment and she was really helpful so no problems with the booking procedure.
