Excellent new year celebrations with JB
Resort buses and parking were very busy, but it was new year

Bedrooms were ok and cleaner than the rest of the house.
The smell throughout the house was awful like there was a dead body in there. The kitchen was filthy couldn’t even eat in there once we’d seen it and also the smell put me off. The place needs a deep clean but I don’t think the host is well. Bedding and towels smelt awful thank god we were out most of the time!

We were only there for an incredibly short time, but the owner made us feel very welcome. We had to leave at 4am and he even got up to make us some breakfast and coffee which was incredibly generous of him.

The host was so lovely! It was easy to check in and the breakfast was great. The bus stop is close making it easy to get about.

Chalet perfect for a couple or small family, very accommodating and easy access to bus links for Morzine and Avoriaz.
Food is amazing and cooked by Jean, Jean is also very helpful, speaks little English but easy to translate.

Our host JB was so hospitable. He was always on hand with a welcoming smile and nothing was too much trouble. The chalet is warm and cosy, located on the mountainside about 3km from Morzine.

Fantastic breakfast with homemade jams, etc. Very attentive host, who really only speaks French (fair enough since we were in France). Conversational French will help you get more out of your stay. I think you need a car to stay here because there is nothing nearby. However, the Prodains lift and also the Morzine lifts are served by a bus route that goes past the road outside. Rooms were clean. We didn't eat dinner here although others have and said it was very good. Ski boot warmers are a nice touch. He has beer in the fridge which was nice after a busy day.
Walls are quite thin, so bad luck if you have a snorer or a baby next door. However, after a day of skiing, it was easy to sleep. Not much of a view (the mountain in the picture is very close). No kettle or coffee machine, but you can go downstairs in the morning and as the host and he will provide.

John Bernard was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We ate twice with him a fabulous raclette and a venison dish. He cures his own meats and picks or locally sources all his produce so the meals were lovely.

Jean-Bernard was the perfect host, and made us feel so welcome.
We stayed for 8 nights and he made us breakfast every morning, which was lovely.
We also had dinner there one evening, and that was excellent too. JB is very french, and doesn't speak very much English. This wasn't a problem at all though, as through our broken french and google translate, we got alone just fine. We are mountain bikers, and JB let us keep out bikes in the garage. There is parking too, so made it very easy for us as we drove. If you give JB the time, he will keep you entertained all day with his stories. An absolute gent who loves to entertain.

Jean Bernard, the chalet owner, made us very welcome and is a great host. The breakfasts were excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. Very good location if you're skiing in Alvoriaz as it's only 2 minutes away on the free bus service.
You are out the way of everything here. There are no shops / restaurants / bars within walking distance and you need to get the bus or a taxi in to Morzine. The chalet owner doesn't speak any English, (which is fair enough as he shouldn't need to) so a conversational level of French would be helpful to get the most out of your stay.

The chalet le plan du rtia was a real gem of a traditional mountain chalet. The host Jean-bernard was a real star, had the hot tub ready for us at any time including late evenings. With an early transfer to the airport the last day I didn't expect breakfast but Jean-bernard prepared breakfast at 5am for us, completely shocked with his great French hospitality.
Finding taxi back to the chalet after 9pm in the evening.

The host is very nice and accommodating. He cooks everything for breakfast himself. The chalet is located perfectly to ski in Avoriaz.
It could be cleaner
