Everything was honestly so nice here! The owners are the nicest people, and you can eat really amazing food that she makes all by herself. (It’s also very affordable and so convenient because you can just order it right to your door.)
We had actual air conditioning, which can be hard to find in Sri Lanka as backpackers. You’re also just a 10-minute walk from the beach and places like Dots, where you can go out and party. If you go to the other side, you’re about a 5-minute walk from many local restaurants, which were all very nice as well.
Honestly, the nicest people and such a cute place to stay! I would definitely recommend it and would book this again myself when we come back!

Das Frühstück im Sri Lanka Style war sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker. Die Lage in der Mitte zu den Stränden (jeweils knapp 10min) von Hiriketiya und Dickwella war top.
Die Besitzerin war sehr freundlich und organisierte auch einen Scooter zum normalen Preis.
Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft!!!
Die Lage direkt an der Hiriketiya Road hat natürlich ein Lautstärkeproblem von 6am bis 10pm.

super lieve mensen! Top locatie dicht bij stranden, horeca en winkels. fijn dat er een airco in het huisje zat.
het was niet schoon. Miste ook echt een koelkastje en waterkoker om koffie te maken. Maar voor die prijs niets te klagen.

The owners are very nice. They have nice breakfast and are very helpful.
It is located next to a noisy street. Feels like you are sleeping on the road. Also lots of dogs constantly barking. Also a school across the road but that was the least disturbing in noise.
Not suitable for light sleepers. Maybe we had bad luck...
