Terrazza Azzurra

We loved Terrazza Azzurra, and Luca showed us round and acclimatised us to Cefalù which was an ideal way to start. He told us about all the local amenities and have us restaurant and other recommendations on things we can do locally. The accomodation was as advertised, clean, spacious, well equipped with INCREDIBLE views from the good sized balcony. Waking up to the sea from your bedroom window was extra special too. We were very happy staying and would thoroughly recommend!

The property is very centrally located, close to the left hand side major beach (short 5 min walk), the cathedral and is walkable from train station. The view from the terrace, albeit small, is stunning. You can squeeze in 4 tightly on it, but more comfortable with 2.

I missed in the t&c's the exorbitant fees for not just cleaning (normal) but then individual day rates per person for towels, sheets etc. From memory, it was around 15-20% of total cost for 4. We could have bought our own linen for these day rate charges. We've stayed in plenty of italian rentals, and this was an outlier. The property was clean but in poor condition. No fry pan, no lighter for gas, soap upstairs but not down etc etc. Tons of small addressable things, that hosts should fix or replace. Only 1 key, which one of which had to be used to keep ac on. Having to chase host 12 hours before access, and marta non responsive to question mid trip (only 1, responded to theres). There are quite a few steps, and the internal stairs to the loft are a little tricky. There are two bedrooms upstairs, but only one bathroom attached to the dual single bed room. The master bathroom is downstairs, for the upstairs master bedroom. If you have mobility issues, i wouldn't stay here. We really enjoyed our trip in cefalu, but I would probably look at other local options before staying here again.

An excellent location close to all that the old town of Cefalu has to offer. Lovely views across the rooftops and out across the sea.

Do be prepared for the many steps to access the property.

Beautiful apartment in fantastic location, in the heart of the old town and so close to the main beach. The view from the terrace was really special looking out to sea. The apt is very well equipped with a large kitchen, washing machine, air con and two bathrooms. Luca is a great host and helped us with everything during our 10 night stay.

Nothing!
