We had a lovely stay at Casa Veronica. We were there with our two young children (1 and 3) so having a heated pool, a well stocked shop nearby and a quiet safe beach so close made our lives so much easier. It was also very convenient for Faro airport but still quiet and secluded. The house had everything we needed and Helen and Dirk were both very responsive and helpful.

we stayed in this villa for 7 nights at the beggining of August. I cannot begin to tell you just how beautiful this villa is.We came as a family of 5. We were met by the owner & his wife at the airport, who guided us back to the villa, following them. They went out of their way to be helpful, and even drove to a supermarket on the way to the villa, so we could pick up some essential items for our stay. The town of olhao is very close and had everything we needed, including a shopping centre, with go karting for the kids. The villa itself is up a dirt track, and though its quite rocky to get to, its also the last villa on the end of the road, so its very private. I would suggest hiring a car is essential. The villa has a magnificent view over the countryside & a view of the beach. There are 4 bedrooms, all very spacious, and 3 bathrooms. The villa is beautifully spacious and laid out, with a very large lounge area and a spacious kitchen and dining area. They have a smart tv with english telly, so when you are relaxing, you are able to curl up and watch it.The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, as well as a laundry room which we were able to use.By far for us, the pool was the best bit, it is a lot larger than it looks in the pictures, and the whole family loved it. As an added bonus it has under pool lighting in the evenings. The villa has beautiful grounds surrounding it. The pictures on the site dont do it justice, it is perfect for a family, and the owners are so friendly and helpful, they really went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay.
