Sea front Apartment In Castlerock, With Stunning Panoramic Views

An amazing home base for exploring Northern Ireland.

Great communication with owner. Quick responses which is always appreciated! The twin room was tight for 2 adults with luggage, but the other bedriom and bathrooms are spacious. We were there in the off-season (only 2 other cars in the parking lot), and we felt very safe walking around. The locals were friendly and helpful. We also loved having the livingroom fireplace to warm up after our days adventuring outside.

We were looking to explore the Atlantic coast, the apartment was ideal with great views. Apartment was well furnished and fully equipped which was really appreciated. Highly recommended

I was already for the second time in the holiday apartment. Both times the apartment was very clean. The furnishings are well maintained and the new sofas are great. I really enjoyed the view of the sea through the large window. Many sights are easily accessible from Castlerock. The train connection to Belfast or Derry is very convenient.

Lovely, well equipped and clean property, but the stand out feature was the view from lounge and bedrooms. Just a few steps walk to the beach, and less than 5 minute walk to local shop, pub and coffee shop. Rosemary was always responsive to messages but was never intrusive. I highly recommend a stay and I will definitely be back.

Castlerock is a really nice seaside town The train stops right in town so getting to places is easier There are a few stores and places to eat that have good food and service. The apartment is adequate however we had a problem with the water, it was sporadically warm but mostly cold. I did report it to the host but it was not resolved during our visit so it put a damper on what could have been a problem free visit. I did notice prior guests had the same issue a month before. I think if I had reread the reviews I would have asked the host if this had been resolved.

The apartment is located steps from the beach. A walk on the beach is amazing! The apartment was clean, and very nice. We had difficulty operating the hot water boiler. We could not get the hot water to the bathrooms (worked in the kitchen) and the water flow in the bathrooms was none existent. I reached out to Suzanne, and she responded telling me all the appliances are standard and self-explanatory, so she didn’t think we needed instructions. As an out-of-country visitor, we never need to operate a boiler to get hot water. We also do not have a washer/dryer in one unit. We had to google how to use them, and even that didn’t lead to success. We had freezing cold showers with a dribble of water. We were only staying for two nights, so we didn’t let this ruin our visit; however, I recommend Suzanne provide written instructions for the property/appliances for other visitors. I did read another review with the same request, but Suzanne has not viewed this request as necessary. All in all, it is a lovely property and we enjoyed our stay in Castlerock!

We had such an easy stay. Flight cancellations robbed us of one night but the night we did get was very restful. Everything was clean and having the coffee, tea and milk was a nice treat after so much traveling.

Picturesque location. Property in very good condition and internally very clean. Lounge and Bedrooms very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped but would benefit from a non-stick frying pan. The hot water supply was inadequate suffering from poor pressure and as a consequence the use of the bath and shower in both the bathroom and ensuite was not satisfactory. Anyone using the property for a stay longer than a couple of days would have found this most frustrating. Remedying this particular shortcoming should be addressed urgently to avoid future complaints as our stay otherwise was most enjoyable. Some written instructions for operating ovens etc would also be helpful.

Very clean, comfortable and well appointed. We had wet windy weather but in a good summer the view and location would be spectacular. There was a problem with the hot water while we were there but host gave us generous compensation. Minor quibbles would be needing some more coathangers and some written instructions about heating, bins etc.

We loved this apartment! It is spacious with lots of great amenities including a washer/dryer, strong internet, dishwasher, and cozy recliners. The location is only a few minutes walk from the STUNNING pristine Castlerock beach and the train station. We also enjoyed the easy, 30 min walk to Mussenden Temple/Downhill Demesre. Rosemary was a great host and checkin/checkout was easy peasy!

Just finished our 2 week holiday at Ocean View. The apartment is situated overlook the sea and Castlerock beach. A very clean and very well furnished holiday home. We had a great holiday along the north coast using the apartment as a base. Any communication with the owner was responded to quickly and positively. I thoroughly recommend this apartment for your holiday. I hope to be able to stay there again

This apartment is in a truly wonderful spot overlooking Castlerock beach. It is every bit as great as it looks in the advert and beautifully clean and homely. You can sit at the kitchen table and eat breakfast looking out to sea! Rosemary responded very quickly to our messages because we had our flight cancelled and arrived late, and was very understanding. The area is lovely and beach idyllic, you don't really have to go anywhere else if, like us, you are on a short break. We had a lovely holiday and will definitely be back. :)

This apartment is in such a lovely position, overlooking the sea and a huge long stretch of beach, made all the more interesting by rocks to climb over or just sit on. An area of grass next to the apartment with benches overlooking the beach too. Idyllic. A short way along the coast you have Giants Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede bridge with wonderful scenery all the way. The apartment itself is lovely and clean and spacious with the bonus of two bathrooms (one with bath, one with shower). Restricted number of channels available on the TV. There's a DVD player but no DVD's so be sure to take some with you. Overall a great apartment and a lovely part of the country. We hope to return one day.

The property is first class. Perfectly clean fully equipped with everything we needed. It’s Ideally located for all of the north coast. Right at the beach. We didn’t want to leave. Hopefully we’ll get back soon.

Apartment spacious and clean. Absolutely 1st class with the added bonus of a Dishwasher. Amazing location in Castlerock beside the beach and sea. Secure parking.

We enjoyed our time in Castlerock. The location was quiet apart from the soothing sound of the waves nearby. A nice relaxing stay.

Everything was fine and the weather was far more benign than the forecasters' predicted! This was the icing on the cake!

This spot s a bit remote with windy weather but was sunny and clear on days we visited. It was an amazing drive along the coast to visit Giants Causeway. Ate dinner at their golf club and met the ever friendly Irish people.
