This is a lovely spacious cottage very accessible for someone with limited mobility (one of our party was disabled - wheelchair user but able to walk short distances and a couple of steps). The cottage was clean and the beds had different levels of firmness so we were all able to sleep very comfortably.
The location was quiet, easy to find and just a short walk to the beach, train station and local cafes. There is plenty of parking.
The owner was very helpful, answering all our questions, helped with providing a toilet seat, checked everything was OK for us. They provided a welcome pack including milk, bread and biscuits on arrival.
I can't think of any negatives. I found the cottage exactly as I expected. It was just what we needed.

Beautiful house. Every facility needed to make it home from home. Nice wee touch was the welcome package. The biscuits (2 packets) weren't just any biscuits, they were M&S biscuits!
12 minutes to train station and 13 to the beach, walking.

Castleshaw really is a home from home. The property is located perfectly, with a short walk to the beach and such a lovely quiet surrounding. We brought out furry friend who also loved the beach and going for long walks. The house has everything you need and we couldn't have asked for more.
There was a pint of milk in the fridge and a few chocolate bars which were welcomed after a long drive down. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home. 10/10 from us.
