About this apartment rental
Alfama 4 is on the second floor (no lift) of an old building recently fully refurbished.
Renovation was complete and carefully accomplished: pre-existing old materials were incorporated with the new, adding personality to the apartment. Noble old wood as well as stone and iron elements stand out in graciously harmony. Decoration is sober in a modern rustic style with most features you would find in a recent apartment.
The apartment can accommodate with full comfort up to 6 people. It is composed of a large open space from the large living room and dinning area to the modern and very well equipped kitchen.
There are 3 separated bedrooms: one suite with private bathroom and a double bed (2 mattresses); a second bedroom with 2 single beds and a third with a bunk bed of 2 sinle beds.
A second full bathroom with a tub and a long exterior balcony complete the flat.
Alfama 4 is ideal for large families or groups of friends who want a quality very spacious apartment right in the centre of the most picturesque quarter of Lisbon.

Our stay here in Lisbon was wonderful! We were met at the apartment and given thorough information at check in. The host was extremely responsive. We had no hot water the first night and Mario came right away in the evening and fixed it. The apartment was clean and comfortable and well equipped. There were coffee pods for our use in the morning. It's a great location in Alfama, old town, with many shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment is on the second floor with many steps, which wasn't a problem for us, but people should be aware. Also cars are not allowed on the street, which again wasn't a problem for us as we had no car and you could easily get transportation right down the street. I would definitely recommend this apartment when staying in Lisbon.

Our stay at this beautiful apartment was wonderful. My experiences with VRBO have been very good but this was just perfect in every way. The rooms are big and airy, the living room and dining room are large and they overlook the lovely rooftops of Lisbon. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped. The ceilings are high giving that wonderful additional feeling of space. The host Mario is incredibly responsive to all communication. We were given 3 key sets for party of 5 people which was wonderful. The neighborhood is of Alfama wonderful and full of character with cafes and restaurants. We also went to 3 Fado shows. All more beautiful than the next. - I have travelled a lot but soulful Lisbon and this beautiful apartment top my list of experiences. We stayed 2 full weeks. An unforgettable stay. Thank you Mario.

Wow! Loved everything about our stay. Incredible location, very comfortable beds, great kitchen, kind owner. The place is amazing, 5 minute walk to Saturday morning flea market. Perfect base for my family of 4.

The place was very comfortable and looked good - it was convenient and clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. Unfortunately there was a bad smell from the drains in both bathrooms. There was an attempt to mask the smell with puffer deodorants but this, combined with the smell, was most unpleasant. I hope the problem can be remedied because otherwise, the place was fine.
