About this apartment rental
Beautiful apartment inside an old charming villa right on the beach, near Donoratico (Tuscany - Italy), with private park and beach, surrounded by pine trees. Sleeps 8 people (4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large living room with fireplace, large outdoor deck for dining and sunbathing).
The villa belonged to the Gherardesca family, one of the oldest nobility families in Italy, also mentioned in Dantes’s Divine Comedy, and it has hosted famous guests like the queen of Spain. It sits directly on the beach in one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany, with miles of empty beaches stretching from Marina di Donoratico to San Vincenzo.
With its own private park and beach it's a very safe place for families with children; on the ground floor there is one large living room (L-shaped) with an ntique fireplace, one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, a bathroom and the kitchen.
On the second floor there are two double bedrooms, one single bedroom and two bathrooms.
The large outside deck (600 square feet) is ideal for for dining and relaxing.
Usage of the private beach and beach equipment is included in the price (beach equipment is stored in a private room with direct access from the beach).
A four star hotel with restaurants and grocery shop is conveniently located right beside the villa with access from the beach; the villages of Donoratico, Castagneto Carducci and San Vincenzo, with plenty of shops and restaurants, are only a few minutes away, driving along nice country roads.
Marina di Donoratico can also be reached with a 15 minutes walk on the beach.
Siena, Pisa, Florence, Volterra, San Gimignano, Bolgheri and many other beautiful destinations are less then 1 hour away.
During low season (mid September - beginning of May) special arrangements can be made for weekends or long period rentals

Bis auf den Animationslärm ab 22 Uhr am Abend, war der Urlaub echt toll.

Ein sehr besonderes Objekt direkt am Strand. Sehr gut ausgestattete, wenn auch kleine Küche, schöner Außenbereich.

Wir haben einen wunderbaren Familienurlaub verbracht. Allein der Privatstrand ist einen Aufenthalt wert!
Nur beim Check-In gab es eine kleine Irritation, da eine der Dauermieterinnen uns unbedingt abwimmeln wollte. Hat dann aber nach einigen Hin und Her doch geklappt.
Aber ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden. Kleiner Tipp noch für Nachkommende: Ausser Badehandtücher und Sonnencreme wird für den Strand nichts benötigt. Es ist alles da - Liegen, Sonnenschirm, Surfbretter und Sandspielzeug. Wunderbar!

Proprietà bellissima in un magnifico contesto, l'appartamento fa infatti parte di una storica villa a ridosso della spiaggia che fu un tempo dei della Gherardesca.
La casa si trova veramente a 2 passi dal mare, cosa molto comoda soprattutto per noi che avevamo dei bambini piccoli. E' disponibile anche un magazzino privato per l'attrezzatura da spiaggia(alcune cose come sdraio e lettini sono disponibili in loco).
Risulta essere molto comoda anche la vicinanza di un villaggio vacanze, raggiungibile a piedi in 5 minuti, che mette quindi a disposizione anche degli ospiti di villa Emilia un bar, dei ristoranti, una pizzeria ed un piccolo market.
La casa è molto curata e non manca veramente niente, molto pratico anche lo spazio privato all'esterno, ovviamente molto ben attrezzato, che risulta essere in ombra e quindi più fresco subito dopo pranzo.
Nonostante il periodo veramente caldo, la casa è risultata essere abbastanza fresca e dotata nella sala principale di 2 funzionali ventilatori a pale al soffitto, con la possibilità di avere anche l'aria condizionata come optional a pagamento.
Il proprietario, il sig. Andrea, e la sign.ra Renata che si occupa della casa, entrambi molto disponibili e pronti a risolvere ogni tipo di problema, che però fortunatamente non abbiamo avuto.
Lo consiglio vivamente e spero di trovare posto anche l'anno prossimo.
