Parking became a bit of an issue as it was road side and spaces were limited.

Exceptional

It’s hard to fault Avocet Cottage – great location in the town centre and just one street back from the seafront. The cottage is very comfortable, spotlessly clean, bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen is well appointed and the sitting room has a lovely wood burning stove. However, the highlight was the outside toilet, which took pressure off the bathroom and provided an instant weather update. Improvement opportunity – consider installing a small door in the opening between the kitchen and sitting room. If people are in the sitting room, chatting or watching TV, there’s no barrier to muffle the sound carrying straight through the opening to other people working or in virtual meetings at the kitchen table. Also, in common with so many other shower screens around baths, the screen is pretty ineffective at preventing water from collecting on the bathroom floor. James Dyson – a solution please?! Overall, 10/10.

Exceptional

Our planned trip was altered as Avocet was sold 3 days before we were due to stay .. we were offered puddle Duck at no extra cost and earlier/later check out times to compensate.. we had the most amazing time, the cottage was lovely, comfortable and checking in and out wonderfully easy. I would recommend the cottage and company offering it 😁
