Perfect home for a short stay in the Thun area

It’s a lovely building in the hills around Thun. We absolutely loved the peace and quiet and the friendliness. The property had everything you need and was a great and easy place to travel into Thun, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. Martin gifted us some wonderful local produce which was delicious :)

Wonderful host. Very nice apartment on a small working farm. If you love horses, that will be icing on the cake!

Beds were so comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Martin was a superb host. Prior to our arrival, he put eggs, jam, cheese, and milk in the fridge and fresh bread on the table. Amazing!

Highly recommend for a warm, family-friendly countryside getaway!

The facilities were excellent, with clean beds, beautiful landscapes, and plenty of toys for kids. Martin, the friendly and attentive host, left fresh local jam, yogurt, and milk for us on arrival—so good that we bought more to take home! We also got free buses passes to travel to region covered by Thun pass.

Just a couple of suggestions: adding a toaster would be nice, and we had to close windows by 4 p.m. to avoid mosquitoes.Also It does require some travel to get to these popular spots like Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald.

Amazing!

Martin is a great host! The house is very well-equipped and Martin prepared a very nice breakfast with local products. He also gave us a tour to see all the horses that he have in his property. It was incredible.

Un lugar magnifico para descubir Suiza

La ubicación, la casa y el trato de los Martin y su esposa. Estuvieron muy atentos con nuestros hijos. Para mi hija que le gustan los caballos, era un sueño hecho realidad. Los obsequios que nos dejaron en la nevera para el desayuno estaban buenisimos. Y además tenían punto de carga para vehículo eléctrico.

Nada. Todo estuvo estupendo y esperamos poder repetir pronto.

La casa Pony Hof

La ubicación, en plena naturaleza y cerca de Thun. Las instalaciones bonitas y con todo lo necesario. Los dueños al llegar nos habían dejado como obsequio pan, leche, mermelada y queso en la nevera, todo de producción local. La casa además tiene parking exterior.

Die Aufmerksamkeit der Gastgeber gegenüber ihren Gästen ist schon etwas besonderes insbesondere die "Leckereien " die man von den Gastgebern gratis in den Kühlschrank gelegt bekommt. Vielen Dank für diese außergewöhnliche Gastfreundlichkeit!

Idyllischer kann es kaum sein.

Wunderschön gelegen, sehr kinderfreundliche Einrichtung. Unerwartet: ein gefüllter Frühstückskühlschrank mit lokalen Spezialitäten. Wir haben selten so gut geschlafen.

Schön, ruhig, gemütlich, im Herzen der Natur

Es war sehr gemütlich und wir hatten alles, was wir für den Aufenthalt brauchten. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen, die Betten waren sehr komfortabel und es war sehr ruhig. Die Kinder haben es gemocht, Tiere in der Nähe zu haben (Pferde, Hühne, Katzen, Kuhe) und die Aussicht war sehr schön. Danke für alles.

Eigentlich war alles perfekt, wir hätten nur es schön gefunden, die Haushälter kennenzulernen aber wir verstehen auch wohl, dass sie keine Zeit hatten oder dass sie uns in Ruhe lassen wollten. Wir haben auf jeden Fall, alles gefunden, was wir brauchten, Internetzugang, Haushaltsgeräte usw.

Espectacular

Si buscas una casa que recuerde a la típica suiza, esta es una gran opción, un paisaje espectacular en el campo, con animales alrededor (nuestros hijos estaban encantados), y el dueño nos dejó de todo para hacernos un muy buen desayuno. Además de noche se ven las estrellas. Y a la casa no le falta ni un detalle. Muy recomendable!

Super Aufenthalt

Alles fantastisch und die Ausstattung war überdurchschnittlich gut. Alles war vorhanden von Bachofen zur Waschmaschine, Bügeleisen, Staubsauger, Toaster und vieles mehr. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und der Hausstil in der gesamten Gegend gefällt uns wahnsinnig gut. Mit dem Auto war man auch sehr schnell in Thun und konnten von dort auch die Beatushöhlen erkunden. Die feinen Köstlichkeiten die wir bekommen haben waren auch sehr lecker und haben uns sehr gefreut. Tipp: kauft euch im Hoflädeli das Fondue, war auch ein Riesenhit

Ferien auf dem Bauernhof, erholsam, ruhig, herzlich, einfach wunderbar - vielen herzlichen Dank!

Januar(loch?) Wir wollten der grauen Stadt enfliehen... weg von all den grauen Autos und grauen Menschen und haben ein kleines Paradiesli gefunden: Ein mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes Bauernhaus. Alles, was man sich wünscht, war vorhanden (um frühere Bewertungen zu korrigieren: auch ein Toaster, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschiene mit Tumbler und vieles mehr, innen roch es nach Lavendel für die Leute, die tatsächlich nicht wissen, dass lebende Pferde auch Äpfel machen...) Der Pp ist gleich bei der Wohnung, die wohlig warm und einladend war, wir fühlten uns sofort wie zuhause. Die Kinder haben sich auch sehr gefreut die benachbarten Hühner, Hasen und frisch geborenen Lämmli besuchen zu dürfen. Wir durften drei Tage und Nächte verbleiben, genossen das Hoflädeli gleich zwei Häuser weiter mit diversen Köstlichkeiten aus der Region von denen wir am ersten Abend einige geschenkt bekamen, genossen auch die Ruhe und die heimelige Wohnung mit den vielen Spielen und Spielsachen, einfach wunderbar!

Wir hatten zu viel Programm in die kurze Zeit gepackt (Familienbesuche in Bern und Umgebung) und wären doch am Liebsten einfach auf dem Ponyhof geblieben um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Nächstes Mal länger :)
