The property boasts an excellent position with a burn running along just outside the fence. It has a secluded rear garden which has been made secure. Lovely neighbours helped us up the snowy hill when we were stuck, house was warm clean, very well equipped, we all enjoyed the hot tub and games room, the beds were a little uncomfortable and the house a little far out of town, but overall great house.

This is a fantastic property with great amenities and fabulous hot tub. Not far from Aviemore centre. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Gillian is a brilliant host who answered questions very quickly and was very accommodating. Thanks for a great weekend stay.

Beautifullly presented property with loads of space and a very well equipped kitchen. With 2 teenagers to keep amused they loved the games room and hot tub, we all did. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

Very nice property that had everything we required, hot tub a boon very needed after a days golf and cycle run the next day, everything worked and no faults within the property. Our only suggestion a walkway or stepping stones from the back door to the hot tub would be nicer than the damp wet grass at this time of the year. Gillian obviously looks after her property well and maintains it to a high standard. Will be back next year .

The house was an excellent base for a few days in Aviemore, with a family group aged 22 to 88. The communication all the way from initial contact with Gillian to leaving for home was excellent, and the house was all we could have hoped for. The facilities were exactly as described and there was plenty of space for a largish group. The entertainment was spot on, with hot tub, sauna and pool table keeping everyone busy. It was also spotless with plenty of towels and bedding for everyone. I’d highly recommend it!

Lovely modern house and ideal for our two family visit. Dioscovered some little cut throughs which made walking into Aviemore really easy - and actually might be worth mentioning those in the listing. Hot tub was a nice bonus as was the games room.

Great property in a great location. Surrounded by woodland so feels nice and secluded but only a couple of minutes from the centre of Aviemore. Lovely modern house with large well equiped kitchen. Great outdoor space to the rear with decking and hottub. Garage is a converted games room with pool table, table tennis and table football so loads to keep you busy and also Sky TV for sports and movie nights. Had a wonderful time and would thoroughly recommend.

We had a lovely time in this house for my son’s 18th birthday celebrations. The hot tub was fab and the pool room was well used! My only criticism of the house, and it’s possibly out with the owners control-the check in and out times. 4.30pm (although the lovely owner let us in at 4pm) is later than other holiday homes I’ve stayed in and 10am for a check out isn’t enjoyable. Not a major issue but certainly feels like it shortens your break away!

Great property, a very enjoyable week in a comfortable, clean ,well furnished house. Ideal quiet location but only a short walk into town & various walks nearby. Games room nice addition but unfortunately hockey table out of action but did use pool table. Didn't use sauna but did use hot tub which was fab. A great week with fab weather

The house is well maintained with good facilities. I was disappointed that there was no welcome pack, not even a pint of milk. Needing to head straight out to the shops after a 10 hour journey wasnt the best start. On arrival the garage/play room had a strong smell of white spirit. I assumed something must have recently been cleaned in there. However, the smell persisted and grew stronger throughout the week making it impossible to use the play room by the end of the week as the smell was overwhelming. On googling I discovered the most likely culprit was a leak from the oil powered heating system in the garage which was reported to the host. Overall we had a lovely stay, the house was in a good location for walking into Aviemore but the close proximity of the A9 meant using the hot tub in the garden could be quite a noisy experience. As a reult of the issues mentioned I feel the price was somewhat inflated so would look for better value accomodation in the area next time we visit Aviemore.
