Welcoming and comfortable vacation home

The property was trulya home away from home. The host gave us a detailed tour, and helped us with contacts with German tours. He saved us a lot of time and headaches with the communication help. The kitchen has everything you would want, with a huge refrigerator/freezer. The views from the house are spectacular. There are 3 huge tables to gather around with family for a meal or to play one of the on hand games. There was even a DVD player with 2 good movies we could watch in English. There is a wonderful beer garden just down the street with good local food and beer from their brewery. They also featured a lovely band one night when we were there for dinner.

We would have liked a few more towels, since 3/4 of our group was female and so wishing 2 towels apiece (hair and body)

Perfect, clean, nice, nice people... what else?

We were warmly welcomed at the Ferienhaus. The contact made with the neighbouring hotel Guglhupf was excellent, and the hotel's staff was very helpful, with information about the region and activities. The house is really very clean, with all the necessary stuff to make the stay successful. Nice kitchen, large dining and living room, large main bedroom, terrace and lawn (which was mowed during our stay), place for the car, table outside for the breakfast, barbecue set, deck chairs... in short : what else? The neighbouring Schwangau (1km) is full of commodities : stores (with a wonderful and renowned cheese store), beautiful thermes, gas station, ... The nice city of Füssen is very near, with a lot of restaurants and stores and stuff to visit. Is it necessary to mention all the nice places to visit in this area ? Castles, mountains, but, first, wonderful lakes (Weissensee, Alpsee, Schwansee and a lot of others...) where you can swim or take nice pictures... So thanks a lot to the so welcoming and charming Bavarian people, particularly to the Guglhups Hotel's staff !

Maybe bluetooth speakers would be perfect in the living room... just a suggestion for the owner! ;-)

Tolle Unterkunft

Sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft in sehr guter Lage. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig mit super ausgestatteter Küche. Die Aussicht aus dem Schlafzimmer ist grandios. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Garten mit Grillmöglichkeit und Sitzplätzen.

Die Lage neben einer sehr stark befahrenen Straße führt dazu, dass man schon sehr früh am Morgen von vorbeifahrenden Autos eventuell geweckt wird.

Es war von Anfang bis Ende ein herausragender Aufenthalt.

Sehr geräumiges Ferienhaus in bester Lage. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Aussicht auf die Berge und die Schlösser sind einmalig. Das leitende Geschwisterpaar ist sehr nett und hat uns für unseren Sohn schon vor Ankunft ein Beistellbett, einen Kinderstuhl und Treppengitter bereitgestellt.
