Sky High- iconic ridge-top retreat

The views were breathtaking. Beautiful modern and spacious home with plenty of seating to take in the views. Rooms were nice and big and all throughout the house was designed and furnished wonderfully. Would love to come back!!

These are just a few petty things but the concrete floor was bit dirty which made it extra slippery. Usually it wouldnt be an issue but when you have a little toddler who just started walking its not ideal, you need to be very careful with little ones around the house as its not super kid friendly. There was also not enough wood supplied to have a fire for both nights which was a bit disappointing given the price point.

Location is unique and offers magnificent views

Furniture needs update, dishwasher door not closing properly, filter in dryer not cleaned, and when washer and dryer operating made substantial vibration in bedroom 2 doors down

The views of the property are unbeatable. On the first morning we woke up to the whole area be flooded with fog and felt like we were above the clouds. You can just sit in the house have a sip of your favorite drink and soak up the views whole day long or take a bath in the tub in master bedroom. The bed (we only used master bedroom) was very comfortable with crisp sheets and a lovely view of the pasture. unfortunately one of the windows in master bedroom has a sort of a salt mark and would be great if they can replace it. The plunge pool is heated and comfortable to use even on a not so warm day. The property provides enough towels but would be a good idea if they consider providing bathrobes as it suits the type of property. There is a beautiful walking trail about 7min drive which I definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, there were some cleanness issues with the property which was below the standard I would have expected from a place with such ratings and price range. The windows all around the property were quite dirty even at first glance. I can understand that due to weather it is not possible to keep the windows clean from outside all the time however, there were several grease marks and hand prints all over living room & master bedroom windows (we did not stay in other rooms so did not check that). We actually had to clean some parts of living room windows to be able to enjoy the view without being constantly distracted by the marks. These were all from inside. The window in master bedroom next to wash basin had something like dirt/mud on it. This was also from inside. The shower head in master bedroom had been clogged with water residues so that water was going everywhere but straight down. We had to clean it with a towel to use it properly. Kettle, Coffee machine and the windows behind stove all had grease/oil spill as well as dust on them visibly not touched or cleaned. I sent a comprehensive feedback with photos to the property management team the day after we left but did not receive any acknowledgment. Hopefully they will review their cleaning procedure in future. One more thing to keep in mind is that the house can be a bit loud on a windy night due to the location of it on top of a hill even after closing all doors as recommended.
