I'd like to thank Barbara from all of us for making this such a fantastic stay. Barbara would respond promptly whether to queries for information prior to arriving as well as during the stay. I arranged airport transfers and trips into Chania with Barbara, and they were all reliable transfers. Barbara has lots of contacts for trips, restaurants etc which saved a lot of time.Like in previous reviews we arranged for Barbara's aunt to cook for us. We chose the day that we arrived as that took the pressure off trying to sort something out. she was easily able to cater for our dietary requirements, and we had enough food left over to eat on subsequent days.The villa is a well proportioned 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom property set up on a hill with fantastic views of the sea, beaches, and mountains. There’s lots of outdoor space to sit around and sun loungers by the pool. The property also has a wood burner bbq and a pizza oven that they set up. Everything you need for a short stay is in the house and if you need anything else then just ask Barbara. We wanted to bake a cake but there was no tin. We asked Barbara and she promptly delivered along with some kitchen towels and saucepan mats for the tables.The shops, restaurants, grocers, local beach are a short 10 minute walk down the hill. We ate at a few of the restaurants and all were friendly with good food options at a reasonable price.

What a perfect vacation in Chania! The property is exactly as listed, very clean and spacious. The pool was so nice to have as the summer days are hot. The location is also perfect. You can walk to the grocery store, restaurants and the beach. The bus stop is also right down the road so you can get to Old Town Chania very easily. Barbara was an amazing host. She was so helpful with tours, suggestions, directions, recommendations. Anything we asked for Barbara was able to make it happen. Highly recommend this rental!
