About this house rental
Charming newly renovated cottage of 35 sqm with large sleeping loft of 27 sqm. Highly situated with a large terrace of 96 sqm with magnificent lake views. The lot is 5000 sqm with summer meadow in front of the house and forest behind. The house dates from the beginning of the 20th century and has a year-round standard with toilet, shower, washing machine and complete modern kitchen as well as dishwasher. So, wood stove as well as heat and cold air pump. The living room has TV, DVD and a two-bed couch. Loft with a double bed and 2 single beds.
In front of the house you have a large trampoline and an area where you can play either badminton / volleyball. Behind the house you find the forest with lots of blueberries to pick when season.
At Rindö there are 3 restaurants and a small grocery store. You have several places around the island where you can swim
It takes about 40-45 min from Stockholm by car. The car ferry runs from Vaxholm to Rindö 3-5 times per hour and takes about 5 minutes. Or there is also a car ferry between Värmdö and Rindö. Vaxholm, the capital of the archipelago, is located about 30 kilometers northeast of Stockholm. A picturesque little town with several shops and restaurants.
Beautiful boat trips all day long from Vaxholm (or Rindö early morning 1 boat and return from Stockholm in the afternoon) to the center of Stockholm are available, along with other boat trips to numerous islands in the archipelago.
This is a great and calm place not far from Stockholm and you also have the access to explore the Swedish archipelago by multiple boat trips chosen from in Vaxholm.

Camilla’s haven can’t be sufficiently described with words. Pictures only hint at the heaven she has created. An historic Swedish cabin, lovingly cared for with every modern convenience available. A perfect juxtaposition of old meets new, Camilla has thought of everything- there is no need to leave, except to get food! The house is equipped with everything! A trampoline, badminton, bikes, blankets, comforters, candles! Most of all a beautiful wrap around deck allows you to lounge in the sun, or gaze at a sky loaded with stars. This lovely home at the end of a one lane drive is a place to truly experience nature, to relax and enjoy being alive. Our family of four had a magical time and look forward to our return next summer!

Wir waren rundherum begeistert und sind sehr zufrieden. Die Lage des Objektes ist perfekt, direkt im Schärengarten vor Stockholm, sehr ruhig und trotzdem ist Stockholm nicht weit. Besonders begeistert hat uns die Herzlichkeit von Camilla Alexander und ihr liebevoll eingerichtete Haus. Alles war sehr unkompliziert und einfach prima. Dort würden wir immer wieder Urlaub machen.
