About this house rental
Enjoy your morning coffee or dinner on the terrace, or relax in the hammock on the property.
This simple yet cozy retreat is perfect for those seeking peace, nature, or family-friendly relaxation. Whether you’re hiking, swimming, or simply enjoying the view, you’ll experience an authentic Scandinavian getaway.
The cottage
At the end of the small, quiet street, you’ll find parking for your car. There, you’ll be greeted by the beautiful view and a lawn where the kids or your dog can play.
Our red cottage welcomes you with an entryway with space for outerwear and shoes.
Straight ahead is a small but newly renovated bathroom (towels included), with a sink, shower, washer/dryer, and an incinerating toilet (common in the archipelago).
From the entryway, we enter a spacious country-style kitchen featuring a large, easy-to-light fireplace, a refrigerator, a freezer, a stovetop, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, and kitchen utensils. There’s a kitchen table in front of the windows with a view.
From the kitchen, we enter the living room with windows facing the sea and a view of the treetops. It features a 3-seater sofa, 2 armchairs, a coffee table, a TV, a small desk, and 2 beds.
From the kitchen, we also reach Bedroom 1, which now has two single beds.
(Bedding and a crib are available at an additional cost upon request)
There are several closets with plenty of storage space.
Guest access
This is a standalone house (Storstugan) on its own lot, with its own elevated patio and lawn—in other words, it is not a guesthouse on someone else’s property.
During the summer, there are an additional 2–3 beds in Lillstugan in Bedroom 2, which allows for a total of 6–7 guests; however, since the houses are small, we recommend a maximum of 4–5 people.
On the property, there is also an older log cabin that can be used as a sunroom, storage space, or to store your inflatable flamingo, air mattress, or the kids’ beach toys, or to leave luggage after checkout (upon request).
