This magnificent luxury villa has stunning views over the sparkling Atlantic Ocean and overlooks the cosmopolitan village, marina and sandy beaches of Calheta, just 1km away. Located on the cliff top, with a spectacular heated infinity pool, it is finished to a high standard and offers exceptional comfort and style for up to 8 people, with four large bedrooms, all with spectacular views and private bathrooms.
The internal living area is approximately 400 m², spread over two floors and is designed for modern, open living, whilst the traditional shaded open gallery on both sides of the villa and the fantastic barbecue area will constantly draw you into the spectacular sunny terrace and swimming pool. Calheta is known for the sunniest climate in Madeira and the villa's magnificent private garden, which blooms all year round, is testament to its unique location. The villa has private parking with remote controlled electric access gates, additional cloakroom on the ground floor, large laundry room with washing machine and dryer, wi-fi, and large screen HD TV with international channels.
The kitchen is fully equipped for the enthusiastic cook! It has a dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, . The Villa is stocked with all essential household items which include; varieties of tea, sugar, cooking, toilet paper, liquid detergents, etc.:
Outside, relax on the sun loungers and enjoy delicious grilled meat and fish on the barbecue.
10 minutes by car from the beach and Marina of Calheta and Vila da Calheta. A short drive away, you can also reach the top of paul da serra or do some hiking.

Green surroundings and panoramic views over the Atlantic. Very good sun exposure. The House sits on a hillside overlooking the sea in southwest Madeira. This stretch of coast, known as the, has some of the most beautiful views in Madeira and as such is quickly becoming the place to live and holiday for the most discerning. The house is self-contained and set in well-kept gardens with terraces for alfresco dining and sunbathing. It also has a barbecue area. Inside the house offers spacious accommodation and is furnished to a high contemporary standard. The main bedroom has a double bed and a large bathroom. The other bedroom has two single beds. Both bathrooms have showers. The large open-plan living area has a sofa, cable TV, DVD, video and CD player and a dining table. For the winter months there are oil radiators for the bedrooms. The kitchen has large cabinets with granite countertops, electric oven and hob, microwave and washing machine. There is Wi-Fi available.
Parking directly at the house
It is also around 10 km from Jardim do Mar, where surfing is practiced.
We are just 40 km from Funchal Marina, 55 km from the airport, 4.5 km from Praia da Calheta. Arranging a rental car is recommended.
Please note that this is a non-smoking house. Cleaning, bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided.

This actual villa was amazing, and did not disappoint overall. It was absolutely huge, the views were to die for and looked exactly like the pictures.
The one aspect that did disappoint however was the heated pool. I was told prior to arriving that the pool is heated up to 26 degrees. Admittedly the weather hadn’t been the best prior to our arrival but the pool was literally freezing, not just luke warm, not just tepid, not just cold even but not an once of heat was in that pool. I was told to wait and it would get warmer but no it was ice cold from the day we arrived to the day we left. Having a heated pool is always a main factor in booking a villa so even though we had 2 warm, sunny days where we could have easily sat outside and used the pool we just couldn’t as it was far too cold. Unfortunately this did impinge on the enjoyment of the villa overall.

Das Haus ist modern und großzügig gestaltet, besitzt eine wunderbare Aussicht und ist 10 min. per Auto von Calheta entfernt. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit zu jeder Zeit.

We stayed in Villa Panoramica II for two weeks in Oct - Nov. We had originally booked Villa Panoramica I, but due to mix up we got Villa Panoramica II, which is a bit higher up in the mountains. We were very happy about the mix-up, because the views were amazing. The surroundings are very tranquil and the place being up in the mountains gives absolute privacy. Supermarket close
The house was immaculately clean upon our arrival and the pool heated as advertised. The house had everything we needed. Since we had been to Madeira earlier, we spent a lot of time at the villa and just enjoyed the pool, yard and the views. Jorge was very attentive and replied our inquiries fast.
