The staff were exceptionally friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The meals, particularly dinner, were delicious and worth visiting for even if you’re not staying at the hotel. The staff also arranged an early breakfast before our pre-booked shuttle to Santa Marta Airport. The location is ideal for visiting Pozo Azul. The bed is comfortable, the room has a good fan despite there being no air conditioning, the infinity pool is a great feature, and the Wi-Fi works well.
If you’re not planning to visit Pozo Azul, the hotel is around a 30-minute uphill walk from the centre of Minca. There is no air conditioning, and the shower has weak water pressure with only cold water. Although the infinity pool is a nice feature, it could be maintained better as the floor was dirty and there were numerous dead and live bugs in the water.

The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and tastefully designed, with a comfortable lounge chair and a large bathroom. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere, the responsive reception, and the excellent restaurant with a very talented chef.
The room lacked basic practicality - there were no shelves, storage, or space to hang or organize clothing. The location can be challenging to access on foot with luggage due to the steep uphill 30 minute walk. Additionally, I was surprised by extra charges for my dog, which were not clearly communicated in advance - transparency on this would be important.
