Shrawardine is home to the fascinating ruins of a 13th Century Norman castle with impressive views. Just six miles away the medieval city of Shrewsbury, offering a choice of shops, pubs and restaurants, a new theatre, timber-framed black-and-white buildings, riverside walks, an abbey and a castle, is waiting to be explored. The cottage was immaculately clean and all the fixtures and fittings were of a very high standard. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the paraphernalia one could hope for and more. The position is excellent with the lovely Millennium Green a short stroll away, some great walking and cycling on the doorstep and a short drive to all the best that Shropshire has to offer (Stiperstones, Long Mynd, Attingham Park, Much Wenlock, Bishop's Castle etc etc) A wonderful property and an excellent holiday base.
