About this house rental

We have a total of 5 properties. The farmhouse sleeps 8 people.Primrose and Lavender sleeps 5, has 3 bedrooms, and a shower room. Hydrangea and Rose both sleep 6 people and also have 3 bedrooms.

The swimming pool is solar heated and measures 10 x 4 metres and is shared with the 4 other propertis. There is a shower and toilet block and we have a games room with table tennis and a large paddock for the children to play their outdoor games.

This is a great area for cyclists. We have hosted cyclist who have tackled the finish and provided a bed, breakfast and evening meal. Please contact for details.

More info...: The area surrounding St Connec has many pretty villages with superb restaurants and churches, together with the Neopolianic Castle at Pontivy, Bon Repos Abbey, La Forge des Salles. Just five miles away is Lake de Guerledan with a sandy beach and safe bathing, and for those preferring the sea - Carnac, with its long sandy beaches and oyster beds is approximately one hours drive away.

For further amenities please access Le Cosquer. Motorbikes, golfers, walkers and large groups welcome.

The property is well-placed for driving access to various ferry ports (Roscoff 1¾ hours, St Malo 1½ hours, Cherbourg 3½ hours).

During the season, the owners or a member of the family will be available to answer any questions, help solve any little problems which may arise, and attempt to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Good property for accommodation but the 10x4m pool is out of action. Limited WiFi access. Courtyard seating area outside open to non busy road (not so good for dog). Good access to local town and lake.

Well situated close to the Lac de Guerlédan and the Canal de Nantes à Brest. Very calm, and Andy was very helpful.Large playing room with ping-pong table and darts. The house we rent had 3 bedrooms, a large dining room with a fireplace and a well equiped kitchen. We also used the swiming pool and large playgrounds.

    Short stay with kids
    Short stay with kids
We were late arriving but Andy was on site to meet us and we checked in immediately and even managed an evening dip in the pool after a hot few hours travelling. The pool was brilliant. Shallow enough at one end for the youngest child (3yr old) but deep at the other to challenge the older kids. Even though it’s a shared a pool we had it to ourselves most times we swam and we swam twice nearly every day. Great location, cycle route only a few km’s away, Lac du Guerledan wasn’t far away for a nice day out and the house was close to Mur-de-Bretagne too. The house was clean and tidy and suited our needs and there was plenty of space outside for the kids; green area, swings and even a ping pong table in the barn. Thanks for everything Andy!

Our stay was made most welcome - we fully enjoyed ourselves and had the wonderful weather enabling us to swim in the pool - Jo and Andy are making a real effort in their first year here and deserve great success. We fully recommend and look forward to staying again.

    First time in France!!
    First time in France!!
This was my first experience of holidaying in France. We booked at very short notice for a 4 day break. Excellent commuication with the owners, they were really helpfull. We travelled over via the channel tunnel but the next time we return we'll definately come over on the ferry! The location is rural but really stunning!! The property is beautiful I'd recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing, peaceful holiday! We found a Lidl store and the wine was priced from 1 euro 59 +, as we also have a 8 mth old baby we tended to dine in rather than going out! Our children aged 14, 10, & 6 wanted to spend all their time at the farmhouse exploring the couryard , gardens & games room, they didn't once complain of being bored!! Unfortunately as we only had 3 full days by the time we found our way around ( it was our first time driving abroad!) it was time to leave, but we will definately be returning as soon as we can!! The owners Andy & Jo were lovely really helpfull, pleasant people they helped us with directions numerous times and we did spend one afternoon at a lovely lake beach! The only thing I felt uncomfortable with was how bad my French is!!! Although we found everyone we encountered to be really polite!! We took our car as you would need one because of the rural setting but overall a positive first time experience for myself and my family and we'll most definately be returning in the future.
