Had everything you would need for cooking family meals .our host Aline was there to greet us and was very friendly and showed us around the gite and pool area .we where gven all the information we required .and her phone number in case of any difficulties that may arise during our stay

Excellent stay at Aline's place! Communication with her beforehand was good and she met us at the appointed time to give us the keys and show us round the property. The cottage is lovely, well furnished and with terrific views over the surrounding countryside. The private pool is a great bonus. Nearby Josselin is lovely, with a good supermarket also 10 minutes away. We enjoyed visiting Rochefort and Vannes further afield. Overall a tremendous stay, highly recommended!

We spent a week at the end of July/early August at this lovely house which is in a rural location but close to supermarkets (5 mins drive) and the very beautiful Josselin with its castle, restaurants and small boutiques. We spent a lot of the week by the pool due to the 33 degree heatwave, which helped us cool off but did make a couple of trips further afield to the coast (Carnac) and Auray (nice harbour). The house is well equipped and the views from the garden are like nowhere else we’ve stayed! Thank you Aline for everything!

This is a stunning location and the property met and exceeded our needs. That it was a salt water pool also was a nice surprise. Communication with Aline was easy, quick and prompt.

We had so much fun in the pool and grounds, there is so much to do you don’t have to leave the house. The house/location is beautiful, some areas are a little tired but it just added to its character, it’s very big, so plenty of space for all. Great location for visiting near by towns, markets and canals. We hope to return one day.

This is a very attractive cottage in a beautiful country setting near the chateau town of Josselin. The owner is very friendly and helpful and communicated with us very well, especially when we got held up in traffic and were over an hour late. The gite is very well equipped and the pretty garden has some lovely old trees which give shade. The nice pool is a great bonus, but unfortunately the weather on our visit was too changeable for maximum use. I would certainly recommend it for a family stay. But note that VRBO say towels are included, but actually there is a charge to hire them and you need to let the owner know you would like them. We took our own towels anyway so it was no problem for us. Equally there is no DVD player, but the owner kindly lent us one. Josselin is a lovely town with nice restaurants and shops, as well as the chateau. A very comfortable stay.

Perfect for a family stay. Plenty of space both inside the house and surrounding grounds and in a stunning location. We loved the swimming pool and eating area overlooking the open countryside. Overall a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. Aline was a delightful and very helpful host.

Lovely property, great views. Nice pool. Comfortable and the kitchen is better than the pictures. The lady that runs the property was very friendly and did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. The nearby town (5 mins drive), Josselin is stunning. 2 large supermarkets in the town with everything you need (super U is the best one). Highly recommend, but bring your own towels, this took by surprise and had to buy some from Super U. Will return one day. Book quick or this property will be let. Have a great Holiday.

A rural property of considerable charm and decorated inside with great taste. Many nearby places to visit, both pretty towns like Josselin and Vannes, and walking venues. The owner was very responsive. The only issue was that there were several holes in the garden fencing that enabled a dog to exit so I would caution visitors to check the fencing on arrival. But the owner immediately repaired the holes and with all the wild life in the area, which makes for a fantastic stay for any dog, it is quite understandable that holes emerge in the fencing. I would recommend for anyone looking for a rural stay and particularly with dogs

The owner Aline was really great from start to finish. The property out did our expectations. The lounge area is a good size with plenty of seating. The bedrooms were all very nicely decorated to the style of the property. It has a great size dining area but as the weather was so nice we ate outside all of the time. The pool was just the right size for our young kids (although there is no shallow end). The grounds are beautiful, and we were graced with plenty of sightings of the red squirrels. The property is surrounded by farmland and is in a very rural location which we loved. The surrounding area has plenty to explore for days out. We will definitely be booking again at some point.

Fantastic setting with secure garden. Our kids loved the pool and the dog loved the garden. Some areas are in need of a. It more TLC, e.g. decking needs a decent clean and sun parasol starting to fail. Overall a well positioned house with everything you need for a very enjoyable holiday. Thanks

The setting is absolutely beautiful, the garden is huge and very private, with lots of wildlife including a stunning red squirrel who visited every morning.The pool is refreshingly wonderful and the raised decking provides an absolutely lovely spot from which to enjoy the breathtaking Brittany scenery.The house is fabulous - beautifully presented with lots of French charm. It is well equipped, spacious and very comfortable.The owner, Aline, is so lovely and welcoming, providing not only a beautiful holiday home but vases of fresh flowers, chilled beers and soft drinks, and a tin Bretton biscuits.I have to say that this holiday has been absolutely fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Brittany. We had a great week, the house has everything you need. Very clean and well maintained, lots of room. Aline, was really helpful. The garden is ideal for dogs as it is very secure. Lovely Red Squirrel visited us each day. Although no bar in the hamlet, lovely welcoming bar, in Lantillac (not sure of spelling) a couple of kilometres away
