Katerina's Guest House

Great location in the middle of the island. It is mandatory from my point of view to only come here if you have rented a car and you intend to always have a driver on hand, otherwise you may feel isolated and miss all the great things this place has to offer. Rent a car and you are 20-30 minutes away from every beach on the island. The place has a beautiful large terrace where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the olive trees and the mountains, there is a shaded table for breakfast and dinner on the terrace. We had hot water and air-conditioned rooms to fight off the hot summer days and nights, also because you are elevated there is always a nice draft. The place comes with insect nets at every window which made a big difference for comfort as we could leave windows open for fresh air. It is well furnished with quality wooden furniture, resilient and very well thought out for the small space of the kitchen+inner living room. Good wifi provided by the host and also we had great 5G coverage on our phones. 17 minutes drive away from Lidl. 6 minutes drive away from the nearest supermarket. I highly recommend the two tavernas in the nearby village. They are only a 2 min drive, 20 minutes walk and serve excellent food u til late in the evening. (but be carefull at night as it could be hazzardous due to no light on the roads and very narrow hill roads tgat are challenging for bigger cars) Overall a great experience. We would love to come here again.

Beds were a bit small for our group. We are all pretty tall and big people so the twin and queen sized beds were a bit of a challenge, especially since the older design queen bed with an elevated front-board did not allow us to fully stretch our legs.

Very good place for vacation Very pleasant owner Katerina and the apartment is very comfortable and quiet.
