The apartment is very close to the airport. It takes about 20 minutes walk on a well-lit alley. Collecting the keys was quite straightforward - we received detailed instructions and the secure box code in a single message.

Being so close to the airport does come at a price. It gets quite noisy in the morning when the planes start landing from the west. It’s fine for a one-night stay, but it can become a nuisance during a longer stay. The flat could do with a bit of a spruce-up. For example, the toilet seat was quite worn, which makes the overall experience less than pleasant.

Self check-in was available at any time and the instructions for both the check-in process and finding the apartment were clear and easy to follow. The apartment is spacious and has all the necessary amenities. The bus stop to Bergamo is 5 minutes away. For a one-night stay, it was more than enough. It can be a bit noisy due to the nearby airport, church bells, and people passing by (since it’s on the ground floor). However, we left early, so the planes and church bells didn’t bother us.

Yes, it is close to the airport, about a 20–25 minute walk. However, at night it didn’t feel very safe, as there were no people around and some parts of the route were not well lit. This is not related to the apartment itself, but future guests who don’t feel comfortable walking at night may want to consider taking a taxi. Also, there are some stairs in the kitchen that seemed a bit unusual, as we weren’t sure where they led.
