Personal attention and hospitality of the staff. It's a family run business where they go out of their way to please their guests. The location is excellent, just below the Covadonga basilica and sacred cave. Free parking and an excellent breakfast.

Loved everything ❤️

We loved everything about it. It felt like a home in the mountains, all the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The service was spectacular, we couldn’t make it in time for the check in the day of our arrival so the host was kind enough to wait for us. When we got to our room we were pleased to see that there had been complementary treats and coffee left for us along with 2 water bottles. The next morning even breakfast was included and the host informed us on some places we could visit around the city.

The welcome was so warm and friendly despite my complete lack of Spanish. The lovely lady who welcomed us made every effort to explain everything about the property and room with great patience and humour. Google translate proved helpful and fun! We were offered help with our arrangements for our visit to the Lakes on the following day, an arrangement that made everything so easy and straightforward. Breakfast was perfect for our needs to set us up for a great days hiking. The location, with free parking opposite was fabulous. A path led up through the woods, easily to the Sanctuary and Basilica of Covadonga. We were so pleased that we had chosen both the location and the property itself and would really recommend this for a quiet, friendly stay in this beautiful part of Spain.
