2 bedroom apartment in private condominium - Cascais

My husband, kids (ages 9 and 11) and I stayed in this lovely apartment for about a week during Christmas 2024 and we absolutely loved it. It was very walkable to the main areas of Cascais, coffee shops, restaurants, grocery store, and train station (the ride to Lisbon is about 40 min). In fact, the location was so convenient that we were glad we did not rent a car for this trip. The apartment itself is well-furnished, with a spacious living/dining area and well-stocked kitchen. There is a washing machine, which we used frequently, and a drying rack upon which we hung our clothes. Given the humidity, it took a couple of days for our heavier clothes to dry, but that wasn't a major issue for us issue at all (if you are used to a heavy-duty dryer, just be prepared accordingly). Laercia and Arlindo (owners/property managers) were wonderful to communicate with and we used Google translate to make sure we understood each other. We absolutely loved our stay and have already recommended this apartment to our friends.

I cannot begin to say just how fantastic this apartment is! It’s beautifully furnished and has every amenity, As well as the gorgeous apartment there is also use of the on site swimming pool which is set in a beautiful landscaped garden with sun bed for relaxing. The owners were there to meet us, even though it was Kate (midnight) due to a delayed flight. They were extremely kind and helpful. I would certainly recommend this apartment.

The location of the apartment is excellent, safe and secure within a beautiful gated condominium not far from the town. All of our communications with the manager and his wife were clear and helpful. We enjoyed soaking up the sun in pool area, a bit early in the year for swimming. The apartment is spacious and would suit a family of four or two couples. We ate out mostly but the kitchen is very well stocked with crockery and cooking utensils. Spotless too. However, I am very particular about cleanliness and this is where I’d respectfully suggest closer attention is given to cleaning the glass table in the kitchen, also to the shower area in the ensuite. The bedding in the room we used wasn’t new or even close. Some refreshing of the fabric and fittings is needed. We loved Cascais and would highly recommend eating in the fabulous restaurants close to the apartment.

The apartment is a very nice place, which is ready to be rent out for long stays. It is located in a nice and quiet area in Cascais. Everything is close by; different kind of shops, beach – everything is in walking distance. The pool on the property belongs to and is shared between all 20 apartment-owners, but there is rarely anyone in there. The owners of the apartment are very nice and very open to help. Communication goes via email, as that is translated via a tool. Problems with cleanliness and plumbing were reported and handled very quickly. Even though the apartment is on ground floor, to be able to reach the apartment one does need to take some steps up. There is an elevator but in order to reach it from the car park, you need to walk stairs too. The apartment and kitchen is well equipped. Some pans could be renewed as the Teflon layer is no longer on the frying pans. Some basic herbs and oils are there, left by earlier occupants. During the summer we recon the apartment can become very hot as, unfortunately, there is no air-conditioning. We had an amazing time with our family of 4 and recommend the apartment to everyone.
