Wrong number of rooms

The location was ok.

As there is mistake where it says that I was booking an apartment with a living room and a bedroom it turns out there is just one room with one bed so my colleague had to go and look for another accommodation during the night when we got there. Even though I complained to the hosts they offered me another accommodation but for extra 20€ per night.

Nice property, unhelpful hosts.

The property is in a central, yet quiet location. The apartment is beautiful, with tall windows and wooden floors. The layout is a little odd - the bathroom has to be walked through to reach the bedroom/ lounge, and the individual toilet is in the corner of the bedroom. It's fine for a couple, but offers very little privacy if more than 2 are staying. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was clean.

Our main problem was the hosts. They were unresponsive to our messages asking if we could check in early, so we arrived at the advertised check-in time, only to find the building shut up. There was no free parking and we had not yet received the key box code. In fact, we had to wait over half an hour before receiving this, by which time we'd had to leave to find food and toilets elsewhere! When I raised this issue, the host was unapologetic and unsympathetic to our situation. In the end, we weren't able to check in until 2 hours later. It caused us great stress. In addition, although there is, theoretically, some free parking at the side of the property, this is always full. You have to choose from paid parking along the front, which seems only to allow a maximum of 4 hours parking there, or you have to unload all your stuff and then drive off to the streets further away to find a free space. We ended up a 5 minute walk away, which was fine for us, but may be difficult for those with access issues or small children. If the hosts get their act together, then it would be a nice place to stay, but I'm sad to say that their poor service spoiled it for us and we won't be staying there again.

There was plenty of kitchen equipment and a supermarket 3 mins walk away.

Very dated. Too far from centre, not really walkable. Toilet was off the bedroom so others had to walk through it during the night.

Super flat and comfortable stay

The location is a very gentle 15 / 20 minute walk to a vibrant City eating area, with bars, music venues and so on excellent. Turning left out of door, a 5 minute walk takes you a Carrefour City supermarket, open to 8 week days. Ample free parking on road in the evenings. Very clean, tidy apartment, comfortable lounge area, all things necessary in the kitchen. Wi fi worked well. The host was superb in helping me gain access to the property as my phone had an off day and I had traveled 400 miles to get there, so was a bit tired and not thinking clearly, so yes, the host was very helpful and polite. I liked this place, to me it had a nice feel and I was very comfortable.

Typical of these type of premises to have a small shower cubicle but space dictated that, so, this is not a complaint and if the shower cubicle is the worst I can moan about, then tge hist has done a good job, well done

location wasn’t bad. Large enough for one. Always appreciate a fridge.

No bath mat; I’m 5’5” and had a difficult time with microwave—a step stool or ladder would have helped; need more than one garbage bag—what about the bathroom? Why isn’t WiFi password posted? (And with correct uppercase letters indicated.)

Altstadt fußläufig erreichbar und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Wir hatten für zwei Personen zusammen nur ein einziges Handtuch. Geschirr und Besteck war teilweise verschmutzt. Die Fernbedienung vom Fernseher fehlte.

Veel !! geen juiste code voor de sleutel door gekregen gelukkig een bewoner die ons kon helpen want de verhuurder nam de telefoon niet op. Het was er niet echt proper bv de keukenhanddoek het koffiezetapparaat. Ook een vieze kapotte douche met schimmel vlekken. Heel klein voor 2 personen. Geen aanrader !!! Ook niet gratis parkeren langs de straat.
