This proved to be the perfect location for our wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful home in a beautiful location. Check in and check out were easy, the home had everything you could need, it was a peaceful place and the pool and view were absolutely wonderful…

We had a very good stay at the property which is located within a rural area to the north of Mossman. The house was spacious and clean and very good as a base to explore the area to the north of Cairns and into the Daintree.

This is one of the most stunning locations I’ve stayed . Gary’s house is very comfortable and well appointed. He was a helpful host with great local knowledge. The pool is just amazing. That view….. ahhh !

Gary was a very warm welcoming host. He welcomed us on arrival. (This was a bit odd given that Covid compliance rules state access would be contactless.) We appreciate that he was doing his best to make us feel welcome & to show us the house. His property is very well located if you want to avoid the busyness of Port Douglas. The home is large & very clean. For health reasons we chose it as was advertised with airconditioning however all of the airconditioning units were ether broken or disconnected. This was disappointing. Instructions for the DVD player would have been appreciated as not all the TV channels worked & he has a large DVD collection. It did feel weird sleeping in Gary’s bed looking at all of his clothes in the open wardrobe. I left a list of items that I think would help others to be able to self cater more easily as we couldn’t get a dinner booking anywhere either in Mossman or Port Douglas due to the high demand & staff shortages & the closure of some local restaurants.
