Ok but not great.

The airconditioning was really good. Valentina was a very great help!

After arrival, apparently owner hasn’t checked his email therefore not expecting us and appartement was not cleaned. Very dirty pool, not cleaned not clean water, shower was leaking, no washing rack..

Good

The villa had plenty of room , although rather dark ,and fantastic terrace views across the bay. The are several separate villas within one single building,but you retain your own privacy and there was no noise.On street parking was very easy.

The pre arrival information could have been better. Pinelands is on a private road and needs a zapper to raise the barrier. This was provided once inside ! The key location was unclear and so it took some time to get into the villa. You definitely need a car if you are doing any travelling, which was not a problem for us.

Overall a really nice appartment in a great location, but not managed professionally

Cosy appartment with great seaview, beautiful terrace and swimming pool.

When we arrived, nobody was there (it was confirmed that someone would wait for us), we did not even receive the code for the gate upfront to get to the quarter where Villa Pineland is. After several trials, we reached someone by phone who told us which apartment is ours and where we could find the key. The next surprise was that the appartment was not wheelchair accessible as inicated and confirmed in the reservation (luckily our son is not so heavy yet, so that we could carry him up the stairs). Unfortunately there was also only one double bed in bedroom 1 (in reservation 2 double beds were confirmed) and the whirlpool we looked forward to was also missing. Also, it was not very clean (e.g. waste from other people in waste bin and no fresh linen on sofa bed). Luckily the family in the appartment below us was able to help us out with fresh linen, missing towels, gate key and W-Lan code, as we did not reach anyone by phone. Overall a really nice appartment in a great location, but it's a pitty that the organisation is very chaotic and that it is not managed more professionally. Also, advertisement and reality are not the same here.

the pool was dirty, had to clean it I had to change a large empty gas canister outside for the kitchen to function, should have been checked by the cleaners. No baby seat, but they knew we were traveling with a baby by our booking. Lost our expensive luggage here, certain it was stolen from the premisses

Pleasant

The villa is located in a quiet area, away from the city and without many visible neighbours. Very large terrace, well equipped.

The villa has three appartements, one garden around and a pool (approximately 5m x 7m) shared with all guests. Our appartement was the one on the ground floor and it was damp. The furniture and fabrics smelled moisture. Lots of mosquitoes but no screens (insects nets) on the windows.

Really enjoyed our stay with excellent host Paulo.

It would be useful to have a folder in the apartment for guests, showing instructions regarding bins and recycling, emergency phones numbers - doctor, police, etc and recommendations for local restaurants and places of interest.

The property was light and comfortable accommodation but was very hard to find.

This property was clean and had great views. The ability to share the pool on the days of our stay was a bonus as the temperatures were very warm.

The lack of good condition cooking utensils and a leaking shower were the only minor drawbacks of this great property (once we had found this hard to locate apartment.) Both Google maps and host instructions did not help.

Purtroppo è un po distante dal mare, ma se non pesa spostarsi in macchina non è un grosso problema, la casa vale sicuramente la pena, io ci tornerei volentieri!

Eccezionale !

Soggiorno semplicemente perfetto! La casa è spaziosa, ben tenuta e dotata di tutti i comfort necessari per una vacanza rilassante. La piscina è senza dubbio il punto forte: pulita, ben curata e posizionata in modo da offrire sole per gran parte della giornata. L’host è stato gentile, disponibile e attento a ogni dettaglio. Comunicazione facile e veloce. Torneremo sicuramente!

Tolle Aussicht, wertige Innenausstattung, gute Matratzen, viel Platz, Pool direkt auf dem Grundstück

Viele Dinge funktionieren nicht oder nicht richtig (Klimaanlage, Lampen, Poolreinigung/-wartung), wenig bis keine Kommunikation... nur spärliche Auskünfte bei der Ankunft (nur per Telefon), angesprochene Probleme wurden nur teils gelöst (Pool), keine tatsächliche Reaktion auf andere Probleme.

Wohnung, nicht Haus!

Die Lage am Hang ist toll, es geht immer ein Wind und macht die Temperaturen erträglich. Große Wohnung und tolle Terrasse (wir hatten die Wohnung im EG). Damit waren Garten und Pool direkt zugänglich. Viel Sonnenschutz (Schirm, Markiesen, Fensterläden, Klimaanlage). Wir haben uns trotz der negativen Punkte letztlich sehr wohl gefühlt und würden die Wohnung im EG empfehlen.

Es handelt sich um 3 Wohnungen auf drei Etagen, nicht um die gesamte Unterkunft, wie auf Booking vermittelt wird! Man teilt sich also Garten und Pool mit anderen Mietern. Das hat nicht nur bei uns sondern auch den anderen Mietern bei Anreise zu Irritation geführt. Pool war grün und milchig, trotz sofortiger Besichtigung und Abhilfe durch den Besitzer. Kaputte Liegestühle, zu wenig Geschirr (z.B. nur 1 Tasse) das teilweise noch verschmutzt war (vermutlich den Vermietern zuzurechnen). Kein Mückenschutz vor den Fenstern, so dass man immer mit geschlossenen Fenstern und Klimaanlage schlafen musste.

Potentieel een mooie plek, maar teleurstellend.

Het uitzicht op zee

Een heleboel viel tegen: 1. zwembad was groen toen we kwamen, werd de tweede dag schoongemaakt en werd vervolgens na een paar dagen weer groen. Let wel: we waren er twee weken. 2. fornuis werkte niet goed: twee pitten van d evier werkten niet. Er kwam een raparateur (goed zo!) maar dat bleek niet te helpen. Hij leerde ons wel hoe je met een mes de knoppen kon oplichten zodat ze weer even werkten ;) 3. Het huis was niet schoon. Schimmel in de douche, stof onder de bedden. Er zou na een week schoongemaakt worden en de bedden verschoond. Zaterdag zou er iemand komen, dat werd zondag en ten slotte kwam er niemand. 4. Sommige dingen werkten niet of ontbraken: lampen bij ingang en in wasruimte, flikkerende lamp in slaapkamer, strijkijzer ontbrak. Verschillende strandstoelen bij het zwembad waren echt kapot. 5. Het interieur van het appartement heeft echt een make-over nodig: de gordijnen, bijvoorbbeeld, zijn zo oud dat ze letterlijk door vertering uit elkaar vielen. Verder is de inrichting lelijk en smakeloos. 6. Borghetto Santo Spiritu was minder aangenaam dan andere stadjes, zoals Loana. Kortom: op grond van de advertentie verwacht je dat zo'n appartement regelmatig goed wordt geïnspecteerd of alles nog werkt en aanwezig is. Het verdient beter te worden onderhouden. Het kan niet zo zijn dat er wordt gezegd dat je als gast "dan maar even moet bellen" - dan zou je bezig blijven en dat wordt niet gezellig.
