Villa Femés, a paradise

We were greeted by the owner who kindly stayed late for our arrival. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him and the bungalow had every possible amenity. The area was very peaceful and the grounds extremely well maintained. The property is very conveniently placed within the maspalomos / playa del ingles area so no taxi rides required. We had a very late flight back and was granted the convenience of a late afternoon checkout which was very much appreciated and allowed us almost an extra day to enjoy our holiday. Villa Femés is an attractive, two bedroomed property in a lovely setting, looking out over the golf course, dunes and on to the sea. The bungalow itself is beautifully designed. The large, airy living room gives out on to a small terrace with a table and sun loungers and just beyond is a lovely pool. The bungalow is very clean and well equipped with everything one could need. It is only a 10-15 minute walk in to the Yumbo Centre, so it is very convenient for all that Playa del Ingles has to offer. I had a lovely week and would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

We spent here 2 weeks in August 2011 (2 children, age 9 and 12, a adults). Overall, I can recommend the villa to the highest extent, there was absolutely nothing to criticize. Villa Femes is a luxury bungalow in a very quiet neighborhood, although it is situated minutes away from the lively parts of the city of Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas. The views from the patio and the pool are breathtaking: an overview of the golf course up to the lighting tower of Maspalomas.The pool is nice an clean, and during our stay, there were not that much other people, so we often were the only persons using the pool. There was a person who took care of the pool every morning.The bungalow is equipped with a full kitchen with lots of nice details that are un-usual for vacation rentals (for example, high quality appliances, a wine cooler, large fridge, induction stove and a espresso machine).The bungalow is technically at the highest standards; you can control everything using remotes (including shutters, blinds, lights, the window in the bathroom). There is a high speed wireless lan available, which is even better than the one we use here at home. There are several beautiful details in the apartment. The owner did a very good job and furnished the apartment in perfect balance between design and functionality (just to make that clear: if you have children you may ask yourself for obvious reasons if you want to stay in a design apartment; however, do not hesitate, here youll find the right spot anyway).When we arrived the apartment everything has been set up nicely; the person who welcomed us prepared a basket with local food, there was drinking water for us, and a basket with toiletries. We felt home immediately. Not to forget to mention: we also had a native German speaking contact person who took care immediately whenever we had a question.I rarely experienced something similar in more than 15 stays in vacation rentals all over the world. In summary, this is one of the rentals you certainly would rent again.To the owner: thank you very much, we enjoyed our time in Gran Canaria!
