We wrapped up the last day of our 4-night, 5-day Goa trip here and were thoroughly impressed by both the hospitality and the food quality. Having spent the first three days at Planet Hollywood, we actually found the food here to be significantly better. The dinner buffet spread was excellent and the breakfast was also great. The chefs were checking out with guest if they liked the food. My daughter just loved the confectionery items. None of the items were put there just as a filler but were actually made with lot of sincerity and details. . There was a minor mix-up regarding the buffet pricing, but the team sorted it out swiftly and without any hassle. Because of the rain, we stayed in and made the most of the spa and the swimming pool. The hotel team went above and beyond, naming us "Guests of the Day" and gifting us a complimentary foot massage package. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly courteous. Overall, it was a perfectly relaxing stay.

At every DoubleTree I've stayed, service has been wonderful. The staff is warm, patient, helpful, and will often go out of their way, without exception. I say this DoubleTree is the best I've stayed at (I've stayed at the ones in Jaipur and Agra) is because of the thought and consideration that was evident in every little detail. The hotel's location by the Mandovi river is peaceful, with breathtaking views - from the room as well as the lounge area. The food, especially the Goan fare from Feliz (their in-house restaurant), hit just the right spot. This is one of the best places to grab some authentic Goan food. The hotel was tastefully decked up with Mario Miranda's artwork, which is as Goan as it gets. The interiors haave repetitive Goan-Portuguese motifs - you'll also find similar embroidery on the staff's uniform. The lush gardens give you the feeling of being ensconced in nature. A big thank you to all the wonderful people who elevated our experience. They were so nice as to accommodate our request for a room change (in pursuit of the best view). We were welcomed with a delightful spread of Indian sweets, farsaan, and a fruit bowl. We were bid farewell with a cake bidding us to come back soon. And many more little things. Thank you especially to Bulbul, Ragini, Narayan, Yuikhui, Jasmine, Rose, Ashuni and Karan.

Really not worth the money. The hygiene and condition of rooms is not at all upto the mark. The location and view of the property is amazing though.
