Near location to town and surrounding sites. Nice walk into town.

The housekeeper Aldonna was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The house was very clean and the kitchen well appointed. the beds were comfortable and the hot water supply was good allowing baths and showers.
In 2023 one might expect a tv with cable or satellite channels rather than the limited RTE and Virgin Media offering. The WiFi/internet suffered with slow speeds and periods of complete failure. This may be more of a local Kenmare problem than just the fault of the property.
The plumbing needs attention. It was irritating that the kitchen and bathroom basin taps moved a lot when turned and need tightening up. The water pump was very noisy and the main bathroom cistern siphon is failing and needs replacement.
Our stay coincided with a wet, cool and grey week. As the property is in a dark location surrounded by trees, this made drying washing difficult. It would be better with a tumble dryer
