Delightful Fisherman's cottage renovated in 2014/15, 150 meters from the beach, ideally situated in the port of Cancale swell. Quiet and yet very close to the action ... After a quiet sleep in large rooms and in the comfort of bedding, you can find oysters 50 meters and / or explore the surroundings St Malo, Le Mont Saint Michel, Dinan, Dinard.

The house is on 3 levels. On the ground floor, open kitchen, living room and toilet.
1st floor, 1 large bedroom with a bed of 160 cm, a bathroom with tub and shower, separate toilet.
2nd floor, 1 large bedroom with a bed of 180 cm, 1 convertible with mattress of 140 cm and a bathroom with shower.

WIFI and network jack in each room.
Digital TV and international TV bouquets.
Wood stove available.

Parking card for access to all of the port's parking provided.

Arnaud’s beautifully restored and lovingly furnished fisherman’s cottage was the perfect cosy base for a few days in October spent walking the coastal paths, swimming in the still warm sea and enjoying local seafood. The house is just a few steps from about 50 restaurants, the harbour beach and the oyster market, but is in a quiet and car free little backstreet. Arnaud welcomed us on a chilly rainy afternoon with a glowing fire in the burner and a twinkly sense of humour as he explained everything we needed to know for our stay. The house is superbly equipped for cooking, has oodles of hot water and a really efficient heating system. We had a wonderful stay rediscovering the area and hope to return before too long. We had a very enjoyable 7 days stay in Cancale in august. The cottage is very clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Very quiet location, but nevertheless within a few meters walk you‘re in the middle of the harbor area of cancale with a huge selection of restaurants and shops. Arnaud is a very very friendly and extremely helpful host who has made us familiar with everything around the cottage and the surrounding area. We felt very comfortable. Highly recommended. There is just one word to describe our stay in Arnauds house: PERFECT!! We had everything we need and we felt very comfortable. So if you want to have relaxing holidays you better come to Canale. We would always come back!

Great stay in Cancale!

We wanted a place to stay near Mont St-Michel, and this lovely property in the nearby port town of Cancale was just what we were looking for. The owner, Arnaud, was waiting for us when we arrived, and he generously shared his knowledge of the area and patiently answered all our questions. He even helped us with dinner reservations on our first night, and gave us a few "insider" tips that greatly enhanced our stay. There was plenty of room for the three of us across the three floors of the house, and everything we needed was available and worked well: showers, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, etc. WiFi was flawless. We prepared breakfast every morning in the well-equipped kitchen, and could have done more cooking, but there are easily more than a dozen restaurants within a 5-minute walk on the beautiful street that runs along the waterfront, so we ate out often. Paid parking is available in nearby lots, and Arnaud helped set us up with a pass for the duration of our stay so we could come and go as we please. Cancale was a great launching point for many adventures over a 10-day span, including Mont Saint-Michel, Saint-Malo, Dinan and much more. Highly recommended!

Fantastic position in Cancale, very adequate bedroom sizes, living space a little tight, Arnold very helpful and everything ran smoothly. Car parking not next to the house but 50 m away, but this did not represent a problem at all. Had a very pleasant 4 night stay.

My second stay here in 9 months. Arnaud remains the perfect host. Cancale is still a delightful town, although the local seafood vendors (not the restaurants) don't sell moules until July. Easy drive over to St Malo

Our group of two couples (plus baby) had the best time staying at this home! Perfect location in Cancale with a very well equipped kitchen and everything else you'd need for a short stay. Arnaud was a great host and took the time to explain all the ins and outs of the house, help us with parking, and give us recommendations for the area. I would love to stay here again!

we stayed for one week in Cancale in the appartment. The appartment is in a very good condition, although it is close to the Harbour it is very quiet and relaxing. Restaurants are near, boulangerie as well, and Cancale is a perfect place to start trips to St. Malo, Dinard, Dinand and Cap Frehel. Would like to go there again...

The house was very clean and comfortable, bathrooms and showers excellent, owner extremely helpful. The location just a few metres from the harbour front suited us well for our five day break. The cottage is perhaps better suited to one couple, or a couple with older children due to the location of the toilets and the steepness of the second floor stairs. We spent 5 nights in April here. Had everything we needed in the kitchen, including oyster knives in case we bought the local oysters and coffee to start us off. . The house is beautifully renovated with very comfortable beds, good water pressure and local home soaps to shower with. Arnold went out of his way to help us get familiar with the house and to give us local dining hints and such. The neighbors are friendly and helpful to. Right now there is no curtain or drape in the living room, so the few people walking by can look in, but Arnaud has that on his "to do" list, so likely will be remedied shortly.

We had a great time in Cancale, a lovely town full of excellent restaurants. The house was delightful with 2 lovely bedrooms both with shower/bathrooms and everything was immaculate. Arnaud provided extra touches on top of the extensive facilities and was always aiming to please. We will definitely go back and would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely ex fisherman's house. Well done Arnaud and see you again.

Una semana estupenda en Cancale gracias a este bonito apartamento, una casita de pescadores con todo lo necesario para estar cómodos. Arnaud nos atendió estupendamente antes de nuestra llegada y al recibirnos y despedirnos. Tiene todo lo necesario en la preciosa cocina y sala de estar y las habitaciones. Sólo advertir de los tramos de escaleras (especialmente la que sube a la maravillosa buhardilla) para quienes tienen problemas de movilidad. Si no, no hay mejor lugar. Y Arnaud provee de una tarjeta para aparcar en el puerto que es estupenda, porque Cancale está siempre a rebosar. Repetiríamos seguro!

The couple that lended their house to us where kind and eager to satisfy our needs. The man could speak english and gave us local tips where to eat, drink and what to visit. Easy to find parking in the harbor and the house was fresch and decorated with Ikea-stuff. The neighbours where kind and the shops and restaurants could all speak a little english. A nice town with nice ppl and a nice stay, we will gladly come back again!

Tolle Lage, ruhig und trotzdem nur zwei Minuten von der Uferpromenade entfernt. Liebevoll restauriertes Häuschen mit großem Wohn- Essraum. Die besten Betten und großzügige Bäder. Für die Technik- und Internetfreunde ist mit gutem WLAN plus Netflix und Prime Video ebenfalls bestens gesorgt. Dazu ein freundlicher, humorvoller Vermieter Arnauld, der uns eine sehr gute Einweisung und viele Tips gegeben hat. Wir haben uns in den 17 Nächten sehr wohl gefühlt, uns gut erholt und kommen gerne wieder …. Für uns in jedem Fall eine 5 Sterne Empfehlung.

Nous avons été très satisfaites, que ce soit au niveau de l'accueil très agréable d'Arnaud avec une pointe d'humour, comme au niveau du gîte en lui-même. Idéalement situé à 1min à pied des restaurants et du port, le gite est au calme et permet de profiter pleinement des environs. Nous recommandons vivement ce gite, et espérons y revenir au mois d'octobre !

Aaahhh la Bretagne!!!!! Merci à Arnaud, le propriétaire des lieux, pour son accueil détaillé… La maison est parfaite, propre et au calme. Elle est idéalement située, au milieu de tout! Proche de la mer, de la plage, des parkings, des restaurants et bars… bon ok, une petite montée pour faire ses courses!… mais quelle vue à la descente! La maison est équipée pour tout : le confort, les accessoires de vie, des jeux de société…. Merci Arnaud pour votre confiance et l’amour pour votre région et ces lieux cultes…. Charmante maison de pécheur totalement rénovée, très bien située dans une petite rue derrière le front de mer. Salon très cosy, cuisine totalement équipée et très agréable avec son plan dinatoire. Une chambre très spacieuse par étage (2), avec sa salle de douche/Bain. Toute la maison a été refaite récemment , en gardant le charme de l'ancien (parquet un peu grinçant et escalier un peu abrupt) mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé. Accueil par le propriétaire très disponible et serviable. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir si nous repassons dans la région. Nous conseillons donc vivement cette location

Très agréable séjour au coeur du quartier du port de Cancale. Arnaud a su mettre en valeur le charme de cette petite maison typique avec des prestations de haute qualité tant au niveau de son accueil que de celui des équipements de la maison. Ceci va sans compter le calme des lieux ! Nous n'oublirons pas non plus Marinette (voisine de la maison) authentique cancalaise intarissable sur l'histoire de Cancale d'hier et d'aujourd'hui. Bref, n'hésitez pas !!

Beaucoup de charme pour cette maison de pêcheur dans laquelle on se sent comme chez soi. La maison, alliant modernisme et authenticité, est au calme dans sa petite rue... mais à quelques minutes à pieds des lieux festifs du bord de mer...promenades, glaces, bars, restaurants, terrasses, marché aux huitres, fruits de mer, langoustines... Pas de soucis pour garer sa voiture. Merci à Arnaud qui a pris le temps de nous accueillir et qui a su prêter attention à notre bien-être. C'est avec plaisir que nous reviendrons dans ce gîte pour faire le plein de brise marine, de randonnées, de fruits de mer, d'épices et de chocolat!
