Villa Godahena

Breakfast is the same every day, so when staying for 6 days, you want variety. Mr. Sampath, who was helpful both before and during the trip. I can't imagine more responsible person. Sincere thanks to him.

Bad access to the villa.

Exactly as the pictures. Loads of space and ver safe and secure with staff on site to help out with anything. Sampath the villa manager and team couldn’t have been more helpful.

Nothing to do with the property but it was a little more remote than I had anticipated. It didn’t detract from the stay though and Sampath can sort out transport and trips. Locals in the area are also very friendly.

Our stay at Villa Godahena was fantastic. The villa is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature – the perfect spot to relax. Despite the quiet location, everything important is easily reachable by scooter. The staff were amazing – friendly, attentive, and always there when needed. The food was excellent, with a great selection to choose from. Always freshly prepared, and you could truly taste the quality. Every meal was perfect. We felt very well taken care of and would highly recommend Villa Godahena for anyone looking for a private, relaxing getaway with excellent service.

The place was excellent. Clean and exactly as per the pictures and information.

Manager for the bungalow was not available most the time and we had to coordinate everything with the staff. Chef's food was great, however they were not properly instructed on what to make by the manager, even though we provided all the info and menus in advance, we had to skip meals and by more food as all provisions given were used in the first two days.
