BEAUTIFUL villa with pool for exclusive use comfort near sea ideal relaxation

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa that is very conveniently located for visiting Palermo and the west coast of Sicily. The three highlights of the house were the pool - lots of fun, big enough to swim in, diving board - the host, Gaetano, whose warm welcome and helpful recommendations helped make our holiday, and the large covered terrace area where we spent our evenings talking, eating and playing cards.We had great days out in Palermo (park at the local train station and take the train), the Zingaro national park, Erice, and a boat trip from Trapani. We also did the parkrun in the park next to the Palermo football stadium: our first time when the course instructions included "right at the orange grove" :-)A car is a must. You cannot really walk anywhere. Although the shops are close, there are no pavements and the traffic on the main road is heavy. Our only caution is that the road to the villa is narrow with two-way traffic. The locals navigate it with ease but as right hand drive people it took us a few days to get used to squeezing past other cars. We'd advise against a very large car if you're staying here. Overall, it's a wonderful option for a family or group of friends, and we hope to be able to return ourselves at some point.

The property is amazing! The greeting was very welcoming with pastries. Only 1 little glitch with gate and it was fixed but did throw a small wrench in the plans needing it opened. But overall we would stay again

This property is magical! We were greeted by our host Gaetano and his daughter. They were such lovely people. They had a tray of Sicilian pastries for us when we arrived! The pool is beautiful! The property is filled with beautiful lemon trees, which we were welcome to take. There is a huge garden with chickens. We were allowed to take some delicious onions and Gaetano even brought us eggs a few times during our stay! The property is conveniently located near Palermo airport and close to the coast. There are plenty of grocery stores nearby and the train to Palermo was also convenient to get to. We would welcome the opportunity to stay at this beautiful home again!

We would like to thank Gaetano and Mary for helping to make our first trip to Sicily so memorable. Gaetano was always on hand if needed . He even showed us around the local town on our first afternoon to show us the best restaurants and the beach. The welcome pack was more than welcome and they even told us where to buy the amazing Sicilian cakes. The villa it's self was perfect with a lovely pool. Even though it was near a mall town it was a very peaceful spot when lazing round the pool. I would fully recommend a stay at their villa. Thanks again Gaetano and Mary
