About this villa rental

The accommodation has 2 beautiful bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a shower room, air conditioning, a beautiful 30m² terrace on one level with the living room, facing south, facing the swimming pool.

Our villa is located in a quiet residential area, ideally located 10 mins walk from the historic center of Aubagne and its markets on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday and 5 mins by car from the Paluds area, which is made up of many shops. .

From the gîte you can easily reach the French Riviera and its beaches to the east, as towards the hinterland, Aix, and to the west towards Marseille and its many possibilities for visits and discoveries: you can go shopping , visit the many museums in the city, the old port, the Château d'If, the Frioul islands, the cornice, the creeks ...

Please note that parties of any kind are not allowed.

I provide linens (sheets, towels, kitchen towels) as well as a kitchen fund (oil, salt, pepper, vinegar, sugar)

The property was beautiful and the house well equipped. Unfortunately, it was so humid that everything felt wet and the laundry wouldn't dry even in 2 days. The wifi would not connect which made communication difficult. There is a cleaning fee, outlined in a contract that is signed, but what needs cleaned is not identified.

Elisabeth was great and very accommodating of our delayed arrival. Lovely property and garden very quiet and great location for culture and the beach! Pool was great and very well maintained, well stocked kitchen and great outdoor grill to use too!

Elizabeth was the kindest and most accommodating host!! We arrived late after a delayed flight and she was able wait for us and give us some breakfast staples. The place was spotless with everything one could wish for and the swimming pool was lovely. Close to Marseilles and Cassis.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The owners were very kind and nothing was too much trouble. The property is spacious, well equipped and comfortable inside, and was immaculately clean. Outside is a beautiful garden with a decent-sized swimming pool. Good value for the money and within an easy drive of the coast, such as Cassis and the Callanques.

This is a fabulous space with gorgeous garden and pool area. The kitchen was well equipped, the place was spotless and the hosts were very gracious. It’s a lovely suburban neighbourhood just minutes from centre-Ville. The Saturday market’s offerings were delectable.

Many thanks to Elisabeth and Jacques who made us very welcome, and then afforded us privacy. The property is well equipped and spacious, nicely furnished, and beautiful gardens with a clean and well maintained pool. We could sit out near the pool, or right outside the property is a lovely area for sitting and taking in the peace and quiet. The bedrooms are a nice size, the bathroom modern and with an efficient shower. The kitchen area is small, but sufficient for 2 to 4 people. It is a 20 minute walk downhill to town, and a 25 minute walk back uphill. Aubagne is quite suburban, but has some attractive features and a few decent restaurants. Cafe des Artes seems to be a favourite with locals, and we enjoyed a very good meal there. So much to see and do within a 75km radius, and we didn’t even get to look around Marseille (except the train station!). Highly recommended. Thank you again for your kind hospitality.

This property is beautifully furnished, immaculate and the best equipped accommodation I have ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious and the pool larger than normal in a holiday property. I must make a special mention of the owners, Mr and Mme Tian, who are so friendly and kind, always available with advice or to answer questions but never intruding on your privacy. Aubagne is ideally located close to major roads and for those without a car there are good train and bus links to places including Marseille, Toulon, Aix-en-Provence and Cassis. The local market is excellent and the people very friendly. I highly recommend this cottage as a base for anyone exploring the Marseille region.

Très bien accueilli, gîte très bien agencé et équipé. Très belle pièce de vie, lumineuse. La literie est au top. La piscine et les extérieurs sont très agréable et bien aménagés. Joli propriété avec piscine, terrasse, barbecue et balançoire. Enfants ravis. Logement dans la villa des propriétaires, en dessous. 2 chambres dont 1 avec lit 160cm. Bonne literie. Très propre. Cuisine très bien équipée, il ne manque rien. Avons passé un agréable séjour. Propriétaire très souriante, accueillante et agréable. Accès intéressant pour rayonner tant sur la Côte (de Marseille à Toulon en passant par Cassis, La Ciotat : accès rapide) et l'arrière pays. Nous recommandons.

Un grand merci à Mr et Mme Tian pour leur chaleureux accueil. Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine dans leur gîte qui est très beau et très bien entretenu exactement comme sur les photos. La piscine a fait notre grand bonheur avec nos enfants. Les propriétaires sont discrets mais accessibles pour toutes demandes. Ils nous on mit à disposition tout ce qu’il faut pour nos enfants ainsi qu’une bonne base de cuisine. Cela a été très agréable. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit pour une belle semaine au soleil, la propriété étant proche de jolies plages, a proximité de centres commerciaux et de beaux endroits à visiter. Casa molto ben accessoriata, in posizione tranquilla in quartiere residenziale. In 20 minuti si raggiungono le spiagge de La Ciotat e Cassis. Zeer nette en mooie gite met alle nodige comfort. Een prachtig zwembad met ligstoelen in de zon en de schaduw. Zeer vriendelijk ontvangt door de vrouw des huizes. Er is een grote hoeveelheid aan toeristische informatie uit de omgeving en men verteld graag waar de lekkere restaurantjes te vinden zijn.De eigenaars, welke boven wonen, zijn bijna onzichtbaar maar staan steeds ter beschikking bij vragen. We hadden een heel fijne vakantie en hopen zeker nog eens terug te gaan!

Mr et MMe Tian sont très aceuillants , présents si. Vous avez besoin de quelque. Chose et d'un renseignement mais restent discrets à la fois . Ce qui est très confortable . L'appartement est très confortable et Fonctionnel . Tout est propre rien à dire . Les parents et jeunes enfanfs apprécieront piscine et jeux d'extérieur Il est situé dans un endroit très calme d'Aubagne . On s'y repose très bien. À recommander

Un séjour calme, un service excellent, un gîte où rien ne manque

Le gîte est très bien situé puisqu'à quelques minutes seulement du centre commercial, à 2 pas de la première boulangerie et pharmacie mais dans un petit écrin de "verdure" très calme au coeur d'un quartier résidentiel. Les hôtes sont d'une grande gentillesse, très serviables et discrets. Vous êtes en gîte et donc totalement indépendant, mais en ayant au final l'avantage de la proximité de vos hôtes pour toutes les questions pratiques et souhaits durant votre séjour. Le gîte est très propre, bien aménagé, l'espace extérieur offre plusieurs coins de quiétude, terrasse, ombre ou soleil typiquement provençal ... Mise à disposition de chaises longues, essuies de plage ... Un séjour très reposant permettant énormément d'activités touristiques et sportives. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour chez Mme et Mr Tian. Le gîte est confortable et très bien équipé. Les chambres sont très grandes ce qui est vraiment appréciable quand on voyage avec de jeunes enfants. Les propriétaires sont très discrets et on se sent vraiment seul sur la propriété. La piscine ravira petits et grands.La petite ville d'Aubagne est accessible à pied. Nombreuses choses à voir dans la région. Bonne continuation à vous Mme et Mr Tian.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit herrlichem Pool

Im Juli/August 2016 habe ich hier mit meiner Familie für 2 Wochen Urlaub gemacht. Es war eine herrliche Zeit. Aber nun zur Wohnung: Bei der Anreise war ich etwas verwundert, denn die Vermieter wohnen über der beworbenen Wohnung. Entweder habe ich das überlesen oder es ist aus der Beschreibung heraus nicht eindeutig erläutert. Das war an sich aber kein Problem. Die Vermieter waren sehr diskret und der Pool samt Garten stand ausschließlich uns zur Verfügung. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war qualitativ vollkommen in Ordnung und zum Teil modern. Da gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. Meine Kinder sind 9 und 12 Jahre und konnten noch ein letztes mal in dem vorhandenen "engen" Bett schlafen. Auch meine Frau und ich hatten zunächst um die eine Bettdecke zu kämpfen, aber man gewöhnt sich daran. Die Vormieter hatten einen Grill dagelassen, sodass wir diesen beinahe täglich benutzen konnten, die Vermieter hatten nichts dagegen. Obwohl die Vermieter es nicht angegeben haben, konnten wir uns mit den in der Schule erlernten Englischkenntnissen verständigen. Ich selbst kann nämlich nur deutsch und englisch sprechen. Natürlich konnten wir keine ausführlichen Gespräche führen, aber es genügte, um das wichtigste zu bereden. Weshalb ich aber einen Stern abgezogen habe ist folgendem Umstand geschuldet: Die Wohnung wurde von den Vermietern in den 14 Tagen nicht gereingt, weder kurz durchgewischt, noch Handtücher gewechselt oder Bäder geputzt. Die Handtücher haben wir halt selbst gewaschen und auch selber gewischt. Das war natürlich kein Beinbruch, ich kenne das von anderen Ferienhäusern allerdings anders. Trotz des kleinen Makels ist die Wohnung insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. Besonders empfehlenswert ist der Markt in Aubagne am Dienstagmorgen, sowie Ausflüge in das nahegelegene Cassis. Ein sehr schönes Örtchen, das uns besser gefiel als St. Tropez beispielsweise.
