Corfu Town Garden House

Lovely Villa, Lovely swimming pool, host catered for welcome pack is a nice touch. Find myself in the swimming pool all the time. The accommodation is equipped with two air conditioning units which really helped and all your basic kitchen facilities, fridge freezer cooker, sink, etc. The host allowed us a later check out which helped a lot.

The location is a little bit out of the way, to get something to eat into restaurants. It's roughly 20 - 30 minutes walk but you're on holiday so it's good for your legs. We walked from the airport as it was only 20 minutes. I don't recommend this cuz there's not many pavements, get yourself a taxi. We had a problem with large ants crawling up the dining table outside. We spoke to the host about this who took care of it but putting some poison down. The ants were gone after 3 days. This is advertised as "the entire house is yours" and it's private. Some miscommunication there it's not quite true. The entire ground floor of the house is yours and the swimming pool is yours. You share the villa with the host who lives upstairs who can see you from the windows and they use the garden as an access to their property. But they do keep themselves to themselves and don't use the pool.

Lovely host met us at end of road, checked everything was okay, explained everything and provided a wonderful welcome pack. I hadn't realised the second bed wasn't a pull out and hadn't mentioned needing it but Stamatis and his lovely family soon had it all organised. They were very kind and welcoming, the pool was fabulous and it was so easy to get supplies from the supermarkets and a short bus ride to town (5mins) The town was full of history, loads of shops and restaurants. Easy to book on a variety of tours and day trips. Excellent coffee shop 2mins from house (Barista) lovely service and great for breakfast or lunch.

There was food in the kitchen and plenty of towels. Wi-Fi was good! Pool and house were both amazing! Really friendly owners!
